I really love this stamp set!!!  Those little snowmen are just adorable and will looks so cute on any of your holiday or winter pages!  There is plenty of glitter, and more glitter!  You will want to view the SNS tutorial on how to create the glittery photo frame!  This is a wonderful technique and adds so much sparkle to your page or card background.

The little snow banks were made using white CS, tear your CS to make the banks.  You will want to add sparkle to the edges, I used Sparkling Snow.  The edges were inked with blue pigmented ink.

The snowmen were stamped with black ink and cut out. They were then colored with copic markers.  To add that sparkle to the hat, scarf and mittens, Reflection glitter was used.  The smaller snowman was popped up with a pop dot.

Those oh so sparkly snowflakes, were glittered with Reflection glitter and a rhinestone added to the middle!  I also added liquid glass to the larger snowman's eyes.  Stamp and ink that sweet sentiment "Baby it's Cold Outside".  Just a little more sparkle on that snowflake!

MDSM 33 ~ We're Getting Scrappy Challenge

Good evening all!!!  Hope you all are enjoying your weekend.  We are having so much needed rain here in TX, so I thought it would be a good time to catch up on some of my digital scrapbook challenges.  This week at MDS Monday's was all about the sketch above.  Over on Facebook at Simply My Digital Studio the challenge was to use one digital kit to create a page.  I thought I would make one page for both challenges.

Here is what I came up with!!

I used the Autumn Harvest Kit from Stampin Up.  It is a really pretty kit with lots of embellishments, stamps and pretty background papers.  I really love how this turned out.

If you love digital scrapbook pages be sure to check out both sites for some really fun challenges!

Thanks for stopping by, and remember to...Keep Stamping!!

HaLLoween Flying Easel Card

I was looking at Karen Burniston's Blog and came across this super cute card!!!  My first thought, I have to make this card.  On her blog she will give you the tutorial along with the ghost template for printing.  If you have not stop by her blog, you are missing out!!!!  There are so many wonderful ideas, as well as videos and tutorials.

This is a very easy card to make and OH how cute it is!!!  I can hardly wait for my grandsons to open this one.  They always look forward to receiving my cards and I know they will jump with joy when they see this one.

I used K & Company DP and embossed with a spider web embossing folder, Martha Stewart fence punch and the Wild Card Cartridge for the bats, spider web and spider!

Closer look at the scary ghost!

For the moon, just cut about a 2" circle and I glittered the edges with Evening Glow glitter.  That added just a little sparkle to a spooky card!!

I used the new Funky Labels from Sizzix, for the cut out and frame.

This is what the card looks like when it is closed.  The little ghost fold down.

This is a look at my 2nd Card!!  You can never make just one of Karen's designs.  She is so wonderful to give us all the tools to create all those beautiful cards.

Thanks for stopping by, I always love to see all your comments!!!  If you would like more information on how to made this cute card be sure to hop on over to Karen's blog, you will not be disappointed.

Happy Fall Ya'll

Hope ya'll are having a wonderful day!!!  I am so looking forward to fall, I just love to take my grandchildren to the pumpkin patch.  This is a family tradition and they all have so much fun looking for that perfect pumpkin!

After looking through all my new stamps from SNS, I picked up the Harvest - Scarecrow, thinking how cute this would be on my page.  Mr. Scarecrow would be a perfect choice for this page.

I was really pleased with the end results!  Sparkle, buttons, leaves and the cutest "pumpkins" in the patch on this page.  I started this page by layering the pattern DP onto the aqua CS.  To make the banner, I embossed a 3 1/2" piece of brown CS with a wood grain embossing folder.  Layer the DP onto the brown CS, you will need to cut it to 2 1/2".  The green glitter banner is 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape, glittered with Spirited Green glitter, layer all 3 pieces together.  This really created a pretty banner!!

The leaf embellishments were cut from the Wild Card Cartridge using Sticker Paper, each were glittered with Orange Surprise,  Evening Glow and Bronze Splendor.  Added a few buttons to finished off.

I stamped 2 image with black ink and colored one with copic markers.  With the 2nd images I picked 3 of the flowers and 2 pumpkins and colored and cut out.  They were then placed on top of the 1st image using pop dots.  The sparkle on the flowers is Sparkle glitter.

Mr. Scarecrow

Punch 3 ovals

to create the

pumpkin.

Emboss with

embossing folder.

Stem was cut

using Wild

Card Cartridge.

Add leaf and

bow!

I computer generated the title using Photoshop Elements, added a little glitter dot to the "i" using Orange Surprise glitter.

I hope you have enjoyed this page as much as I did designing it, if you would like more information on this page please visit my SNS Gallery! Thank you all for stopping by, you can find all the glitters and stamps used on this page at the SNS Online Store

2 Cute 2 Spook!!

Well September is here, and I am looking forward to some cooler weather, but here in Texas we will not see that until late October or early November.  But that didn't stop me from thinking about all the holidays coming up.   I thought how could I use some of my new products from SNS!!  I have just received a new stamp set Candy Corn from SNS and just had to think of how I could use it on my page.

Let me show you what I did – there are even pictorial tutorials below. I hope you like it!

This turned out to be a really fun page, there is lots of glitter, more glitter, embossing powder and Pop N Cut card all on one page!!  This is going to be a pretty long post, as there was a lot details on this page!!

Another Look

Don't you just love all the SPARKLE!!!  You can find all of these beautiful glitter and embossing powders used on this page at SNS Online Store.
To create this cute border, you

will need to stamp the image

onto 2 1/2"white CS and color, I

used Prisma Watercolors. Once that

was done, I added 3/4" Tear-ific Tape
to back of stamped CS on both top & bottom edges.

Remove protective cover, and cover with
Eggplant glitter  using finger to rub in.

This made such a cute border!

I thought how about a Karen Burniston's Pop N Cut on my page, cute idea!!!  I just knew I wanted to put a picture inside, and what better picture than my sweet Alyssa.  I added a haunted house, bats and a scary ghost.  To create the glittery moon, I used a 2" circle punch and sticker paper.  Punch the circle, remove the covering from the sticker add Celestial Glitter.  I used Stardust Stickles on the edges of the ghost for a little sparkle!

To create the fence, I cut a piece of 2 1/2" of Tear-ific Tape and removed the protective covering and then punched the cover with a fence punch, see  SNS video tutorial.  Place the punched fence back onto the tape and cover with Black Ice  glitter using your finger to rub in.

This is what your fence will look like after you have added the glitter.  I then added Reflection Glitter to the entire piece.

Brush off glitter and you have a beautiful glittery fence!!

To create that cute glittery witch, I stamped the image and colored with copic markers.  The sparkle was added using Orange Surprise , Evening Glow,  and Eggplant glitter.  She is a sparkle in the night!!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, I love all your comments!!!  When you have the time make sure to hop on over to the Sparkle and Sprinkle website to see all the wonderful products, monthly challenges and tutorials they have to offer.  Have a great week and remember....KEEP STAMPING!!

Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ #227

Good morning!! I almost forgot to post my challenge card!  It has been a busy week here and time just slipped by.  The challenge at Flourish for this week was to Make a Good Impression” - Incorporate dry embossing somewhere on your card or project.   It could be an embossing folder, stencils, or even a household item for your embossing.  I used Cuttlebug's Snowflake embossing folder for my good impression.  Using the Cowboy Christmas stamp set from Flourishes, I stamped with black ink and colored image with copic markers.  To add that little sparkle to the boot, I used Stardust and Christmas Red Stickles.  The card was cut using Spellbinder Lacy Square die cut.

Hope you all have a great week, we here in Texas are excepting so much need rain (yay)! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and remember to Keep Stamping....Belinda

Flourishes Get Into Shape - September Release Week

Can't believe fall is almost here and it is time for another Release Week at Flourishes!!  It is always exciting to see what beautiful stamps they have waiting for us.  This month's challenge is all about shapes. All you need to do is create a Shaped Card OR a 3D Item.  I knew I wanted to use Sizzix Accordion Flip 3-D Album and I thought Christmas!!

I pulled out my Dear Santa stamp set from Flourishes and went to work on Santa's hat.  I stamped the images and colored with watercolors.  Once it was dry I applied SNS Glitter to the holly, berries, bells and hat.  The glitters used were Celestial, Cloud Nine and Lator Gator. For the snowflake I cut it from the Christmas Noel Cricut cartridge using sticker paper and applied silver glitter.  The small snowflakes were die cut from a Cuttlebug die.  For the leaves I used Branch, Leaves and Flower die from Sizzix and the flower was cut from Tim Holtz's Tattered Flower Garland.  The flowers were glittered with Gypsy Red and Champagne.  The sentiment is Flourishes Christmas Classic stamp set.

You can find all of the glitter used on this card at SNS Online Store, hop on over and take a look at all the SPARKLE and you can find the stamps set used on this card at Flourishes

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, I love all your comments, and remember........KEEP STAMPING!

I Love Sparkle and Sprinkle Glitters!!!

Well I just received all my goodies from Sparkle and Sprinkle, and just could not wait to start playing!!!  These are some of the prettiest glitters and embossing powders I have every worked with, please take the time to stop by the online store and see all the products you won't be disappointed.

I needed to make a birthday card for my sister-in-law and was so excited to try all the new products.  I used the Stamp Set 318 Stained Glass Rounds, these are so pretty and when you apply that beautiful glitter it is just stunning.    The glitter I used were: Bubblegum #G1088, Raspberry Soda #1G052, Cloud Nine Velvet Glitter #GM2000 , and Elegant Emerald #G1011.

I thought I would add a butterfly and grabbed my butterfly from Flourishes Botanical Bookplates.  Using the same glitter as the flowers, I used a glue pen to add the glitter to the wings.  The leaves were cut using Sizzix's Flowers, Branches and Leaves Set #656064 and glittered with Elegant Emerald glitter.

The top and bottom borders was created using Tear-ific Tape, for the bottom I used 3/4' and layered with 1/8' tape.  Lay the 3/4' down first, remove the protective cover and add the 1/8' in the middle and leave protective cover on.  I used Raspberry Soda on the 3/4' and rubbed with finger to cover the tape.  Once that is covered remove the protective cover on the 1/8' and cover with glitter ( I used Elegant Emerald glitter), rub with finger to cover tape.  For the top I used 1/4' and 1/8' and repeated the same procedure as the bottom.  This really makes a nice border to your project and you can coordinate with colors on your project.

The sentiment was from the same Flourishes, Botanical Bookplate and I embossed with Cherry Cosmic Semi-Trans Embossing, this was my first time using this embossing powder and I just love the look.  It is so pretty with that little bit of sparkle!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and remember to KEEP STAMPING...Belinda

Good Morning All!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!!  I was so excited to be part of the Sparkle and Sprinkle Owlette Release, it was my 1st design as a Sparkle Team Member!  If you haven't already order one of the cute little Owlette Stamp Sets, hop on over to the online store and get yours, you will love it!!

That being said, I just love mine and have used it to make my grandson's 3rd birthday card using those cute little owls!
Front of Card
I also used on the front of the card Sizzix's Funky Labels and Flowers, Branches & Leaves Set #656064

and that sweet sentiment is from the Owlette Set!

Inside of the Card
I just love using Karen's Burniston's Pop N Cut on my projects!!  My grandchildren just think they are so cute.  The circle Pop N Cut base die was used for this card.  I used the Funky Label set for the big owl to rest on.  The Funky Labels were also used for the #3.  The leaves were glittered with Elegant Emerald Glitter, and the #3 with Lazer Blue.  I cut balloons and the star using my Cricut and glitter with Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter. Using floral wire I attached the balloons and star to the back of the Pop N Cut.

The little owls were colored using Copic Markers and glittered with Stickles. I added goggle eyes to the smaller 2 owls.  Liquid Glass was used on the eyes of the bigger owl.
