I have just had so much fun with the new stamps, and hope you will too!!

The Flamingo Bay stamp set is just perfect for those summer projects.  I choose to make a easel card, this way I could enjoy it all summer long.  I used the new Crackle Background stamp with White EP, don't you just love the look!!

The image was stamped twice, and color with copic makers.  Die cut the image with Spellbinder's Circle die and  die cut a Fancy Circle for a pretty frame around the image.  With the second image I only cut out the small 2 flamingos, the larger lily pad and the butterflies.  Place cut out images on top of the frame using pop dots, place the butterflies randomly on the card.  I used liquid glass on the water and Twinkling Clouds on the cloud, this really gave the clouds a pretty "Sparkle".

Left side of the card, BubblegumSparkling Snow and Green Iris glitters was used for the beautiful sparkle on the images!!

Right side of the card, around the sun I placed Evening Glow glitter.  For the frame I used Brushable Glue and Sparkling Snow for the pretty sparkle around my image.

On the lily pads Sparkling Snow was used for the sparkle!!

For the strip on the bottom of the card I stamped the image with versamark and embossed using White Spark EP.

A look at the card from the side.

Here is a sneak peek of a layout to come using the Diamond Stamp Set!

I really had fun creating this card, hope you have enjoyed it!!  If you would like more details on how I created this card please visit my Sparkle N Sprinkle Gallery.

Preschool Cutie!!

Good morning everyone, I hope spring has come for you all!!  It has been warmer here and my little granddaughter and I have started planting our flowers and as she calls it our food garden (aka herb garden)!  She is so much fun and she loves to help!!

Today I would like to share a layout featuring my granddaughter!  This is here first year of preschool and her school pictures were adorable.  Just had to do a layout with them.  So here is a look at my beautiful little cutie!!

I used stamps from Sparkle N SprinkleTulips Stamp Set, and Magnolia Stamp Set just to name a few.

To create the background I used embossing powder and Quatrefoil stencil.  Apply embossing powder remove the stencil and cover with Indian Spark EP, let dry that was the hardest part to WAIT!!  Once dry heat emboss for a beautiful background paper.

The flowers were die cut from Tim Holtz's Tattered Flowers dies.  I used my copic markers and with just a flicking stroke added the center color.  This turned out so pretty, I really loved the look.  The butterfly was die cut and edges inked.  For that pretty "Sparkle" I used Daisy Glitter.

The flower images were stamped with black ink and colored with copic markers.  They were then fussy cut and arranged on the page.

This layout really turned out so pretty, and the cherry on the top was the Preschool Cutie!!

I hope you have enjoyed this layout as much as I did making it!!  This really is a "special" layout.

Spring Has Sprung!

Good afternoon all, hope you all are having a lovely day!!  It has finally starting feeling and looking like spring here in good ole Texas!!  I wanted to share a card with you today that just screams "Spring"!!

Don't you just love these cards in a box!!  I started seeing them everywhere and could not wait to give them a try.  They are so much fun to make and so easy.  You can find a tutorial on how to cut and score your box Here.  Give it a try you will love it!!

The stamps set used for this project is Tulips from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Just stamp the images with black ink color with copic markers and fussy cut out.  I used a glue pen and Daisy glitter on the yellow tulips and Violet Pixie glitter on the purple tulips.  On the leaves just add Green Iris glitter for that pretty sparkle.

I just die cut the butterflies and add glitter using the same as the tulips.  For one of the butterflies I used floral wire to attach to the box.  A few pearls and oh so pretty, butterflies in motion.

For the top panels I used the Mini Harlequin stencil with purple ink.

For the sentiment I used the Sparkle N Sprinkle Tutorial coloring and stamping on glitter.  This really is a beautiful technique.  I used Cloud Nine glitter and 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape.  Just use your yellow and orange copic markers to go around the edges of the Funky Label.  The leaves are punch from the Bird Punch.

The bottom of the box panels were created using Bokeh Technique.  Be sure to see the video on this technique it is really a neat technique and very pretty on your project.

Just another quick peek at these beautiful tulips!!

The back of the box is perfect for writing a message.  This sentiment is from Iris Frame, a new stamps set at Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I hope you have enjoyed my card, give this techinque a try you will LOVE IT!!

All You Need Is Love

Hope you all are having a great week!!!  Here is my 3rd layout from my sneak peek reveal.

This is my first try at a layout like this, but I really had a lot of fun, using so many different mixed media on this page!!

There are several different stencils used on this page with inks and embossing paste.  The stamps used are all from Sparkle N Sprinkle!!

There is different strips of DP used and distressed.  Burlap and cardboard was also used.  On the cardboard around the picture I used versamark and Hit The Beach EP, I just love that little bit of sparkle.  On the edges of the cardboard, a small brush of embossing paste was added.  The new debuting Crystal Medallion was used on this page behind the photo.

Once the embossing paste is dry (overnight) I lightly inked them using sponge daubers.  The page was misted  for that vintage look.  All the edges were distressed.

I added faux stitching with a black pen.  I really loved how this turned out and can't wait to try this technique again.  If you would like more details on this layout please visit my SNS Gallery!!

Check back I have one more reveal from the sneak peek for you.

Have a wonderful day and remember.....Keep Stamping

My Sweet Mother

Good morning all, hope you are all having a wonderful day!!  Well it seems winter is back in Houston again, the temps this morning are below freezing and raining.  Perfect day for paper crafting.  I hope you all were able to caught Sparkle N Sprinkle's March 1st Reveal.  5 new stamp sets were released and they are all just so pretty!  I gave you a sneak peek of layouts to come, so I would like to share one with you today!!

This layout is of my mother at 3 years old, taken in 1940.  This picture was a black and white picture, my grandmother hand painted it with oil paints.  She really had a beautiful talent.  Most picture taken back in 1940 were all black and white and she painted most all of them, they were just as beautiful as was my mother!!

On this layout  I used the Crystal Medallion stamp set, it was one of the new stamps released on March 1st.

I stamped the image 3 times and cut out 2 of them.  They were all colored using copic markers.  Green Iris and Sparkling Snow were used to add all that pretty "sparkle".  These really made a beautiful embellishment for my layout.

Tim Holtz's Tattered Flower Die was used for the flowers.  I used several different stencil along with embossing paste on this layout.
I added glitter to the picture on the collar using SNS Tutorial for using glitter on your photos.

You can see the stencils and embossing paste really makes a pretty background design.  The beautiful butterflies are from Brocade Background stamp set.

Here is a look at a 2nd layout using the same picture, but completely different look!

The stamp sets used on this layout are all by Sparkle N Sprinkle, Crystal Medallion and Brocade Background.  The background paper was stamped with Brocade Background with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.

The Brocade Background stamps were used for the banners.

A 12x12 stencil was laid on top the DP and inked with versamark, remove the stencil and apply Silver Blue EP.  The corners were inked with versamark then apply clear embossing powder, apply Pixie Violet on top and heat from underneath.

I hope you enjoyed my layouts as much as I did making it!!  It brought back sweet memories of my mother, who I miss dearly.
