Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize this month?

Hope you are all enjoying all the new releases!!  I used the digital version of Magic of the Season on this layout.  Here is a look at my layout!

Using DP and distressing it with gesso to create the background for this layout.  To create the pretty snowflakes I used a stencil and embossing paste.  Before the paste was dry Diamond Dust glitter was added to create some "Sparkle".  Once the paste is dry I traced around the snowflake with a pencil.  Bling was added using Mon Ami Gabby Diamond Mesh.

Mask the photo and stamp around it with the new Wonky Line Background stamp with black ink.  Next I stamped images from the Journal Mixed Media stamp set with green ink around the page.

I layered the photo with a frame cut from my Silhouette and glittered it using Waterfall glitter.  Dolly and strips of DP were layered under the photo.  They were all distressed using gesso.  The snowflakes was glittered using Silver Dreams glitter.

The edges of the page was distressed and a small piece of punched paper was added  underneath the page.  I added a tag for that all important journaling.

Chevron stencils were used with ink and embossing paste.
The scalloped border was cut and embossed using Anna Griffin folders and dies.

The image and sentiment was printed and colored using copic markers.  Glitter was added to the image using a glue pen and Fire Engine Red, Spirited Green, Evening Glow, Sparkling Snow glitter.  Around the top of the hat Twinkling Cloud was added.

School Days!

Good morning all!!  Well school is about to start back here, so I thought I would make some cards for the teacher in my Sunday School Class.  Here is what I came up with.

I really like how they turned out!!  Using the Dress template these cute little dresses were made.  Added a little punched lace to the bottoms.  Can't have a dress without a little bling, so rhinestones were added around the neckline.  The edges of the card were cut using Agatha Edges from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Really added a pretty look to the card!

The blackboards were all cut from the Silhouette, as well as the school days wording.

Using white ink I distress the chalk boards and wrote a small message on them.

The front was embossed using the numbers folder from Cuttlebug.  That cute little bookworm was also cut from my Silhouette.

Thanks for stopping by and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

Beach Friends

Good morning everyone!  Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far!   I would like to share a card that I made using the Beach Friends stamp set.

Using a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of white CS as the card base, place 1/4" Tear-rific Tape around the edges and glittered using Waterfall glitter.  For the background a 2 1/2" circle was used to create a mask for the sun. Once you have created the background, ink the bottom portion of the card with versamark ink and emboss with Hit the Beach EP. Sea Shells Mudd Puddles were added to the embossed area.

Tape the circle to the 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of white CS with removal tape.  Using sponges ink around the mask using orange ink and yellow ink.  Remove the mask and blend inks.

The image was stamped with black ink and colored using copic markers.  Stamp a 2nd image, color the friend on the left and fussy cut out.  She was then placed on top of the 1st image using a pop dot.  The images were glittered using a glue pen and Waterfall, Spirited GreenBubble Gum glitter. Fussy cut out.  Surf Beach Glass Mudd Puddles was placed along the bottom.

Using the Surfin' Woody, stamp set, stamp the palm trees, colored with copic markers and glitter the palms using Spirited Green glitter.

The beach friends were placed on the background paper.  The palm trees were placed behind the old friends.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink.  Fussy cut out in the shape of a cloud, and the edges glittered using a glue pen and Waterfall glitter.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!  Have a wonder day and remember....Keep Stamping!

Winter Wonderland

Good afternoon everyone!!  Hope you all are having a great day!  Just wanted to share a layout that I made sometime ago and just finished putting the pictures on it!!  I used the Winter Wonderland stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Using the exploding box template I created a way to add more photos!

Front of the opening, was embossed with Cuttlebug's Snowflake Embossing Folder.  The snowflake was die cut and glittered using Sparkling Snow and Reflections glitter.

Photos were added down the middle.  Each side was embellished with snowflakes.

With the left side panel closed.

                                With the bottom panel closed.

The left and right side panels.  Embellished with snowflakes and glitter.

The images were stamped twice across white cardstock.  They were colored with copic markers.  The trees were stamped a second time with versamark and embossed using Pine Star EP and glittered using a glue pen and Twinkling Cloud.  They were fussy cut out and placed on top of first image with pop dots.  A strip of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape was added to the top and bottom, remove the backing and place a of 1/8 Tear-ific Tape  in the middle of the 1/2 tape.  Glitter 1/2" tape with Reflections glitter. Remove the backing from the 1/8" tape and glitter using Jasper Blue glitter.

Twinkling Clouds was used on the trees to create the look of soft snow!  On the snow banks Sparkling Snow glitter was used.

A tag was cut for those important journal memories!!

I hope you have enjoyed my layout, I'm looking forward to the upcoming holiday season!!

Die-Versions/Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop

Welcome to the Die-Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog Hop!

The joint blog hop with Die-Versions and Sparkle N Sprinkle begins today (7am EST) and goes until Aug 17th (5pm EST), so there will be plenty of time to check out all the great projects created by both teams.  The theme is Christmas, so you'll get lots of great inspiration for your upcoming Holiday cards.

Die-Versions manufactures low profile dies made right here in the United States and Sparkle N Sprinkle manufactures rubber stamps, glitters, embossing powders, and flocking, also made in the US.  This is like a match made in heaven - low profile dies combined with lots of glitter, embossing powder, and flocking.  Doesn't get much better than that.

One winner will receive a Grand Prize consisting of a $50 gift certificate from Die-Versions and a $50 gift certificate from Sparkle N Sprinkle, for a total of $100.  The winner will be announced on Aug 17th on both the DV Blog and the SNS Blog as well as their Facebook pages.

In order to be eligible for the Grand Prize, please:
  • Leave a comment on each Designer's blog
  • Follow both companies on Facebook (DV Facebook pageSNS Facebook page) if you haven't already so you can keep up to date on all the latest goings on.   (I'm sure that all of the Designers would love for you to Follow them too, but that isn't a requirement to win this prize.)

You should have arrived here from the Lori's blog .  If not, then you should begin at the Die-Versions Blog and end at the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog.  If you get lost along the way, you can go to either the DV Blog or the SNS Blog to see the complete list of participants.

We'd love it if you'd like to leave a comment at either the DV Blog or the SNS Blog telling us which projects were your favorites.  :-)

I just loved these beautiful dies!  The 3 used on my project are Season's Greetings ScriptHoliday Cheer Chain and Delicate Deer.

The Season's Greeting and the Deer were both die cut twice.  One of each were glittered using brushable glue and Champagne glitter.  Once the glitter was dry they were layered slightly off center.  This really created a beautiful look!!

For the beautiful chain, it was die cut and glittered using brushable glue and Champagne, Spirited GreenFire Engine RedSparkling SnowSilver Dreams and Lady Luck glitter.

The snowflakes were created using embossing paste and stencils.  Twinkling Clouds was added while the paste was still wet.

The strip of "sparkle" was created using the SNS tutorial for Glittered Lace Background, you can find it HERE.

Champagne and Lady Luck glitter was used for the glittered background.

For my 2nd project I created a Center Step Card (template can be found HERE)

The background paper for this card is created using the above tutorial for creating Glittered Lace Background.  The glitters used were Champagne and Silver Dreams.

The sentiment is from A Winter Wonderland.

A snowflake from Recollections was added along with several

 rhinestones and pearls.

The deer was inked  with versamark and embossed using White Spark.  The paper dolly was also embossed using versamark and Fire Cracker Red.  Once the deer was dry a bow and rhinestone was added.

You can find full details on both projects on my SNS Gallery!

Your next stop on the blog hop is the amazing Marie!

It's Back To School Time!!

Good morning all, hope your week is off to a get start!!  I spent the past weekend with my oldest grandson enjoying the water park.  He heads back to school tomorrow!!  He is starting junior high, can't believe how time has just flown bye.  This is an exciting year for him, he will be playing football for the 1st time, running cross country and is an honor student.  We were truly blessed by the Lord when he was born.

It just wanted to create a cute card to wish him good luck in the new school year.  Looked to my Silhouette to see what I could find and came up with this!!  It really turned out so cute!!

I used Sparkle N Sprinkle glitter and a glue pen to create the sparkle!!

The football and helmet came from a different set of svg files.  I decided since he was playing football to make a helmet and put his school letters on it.  I used Reflection glitter on the face guard.

I just love these card in a box!  They are just so much fun to put together and so cute when they are opened!!

Enjoy your week and remember......Keep Stamping!!

Life Is Like A Sunflower!

Good morning everyone, hope your week has been great!!  I would like to share a layout with you today, that I gave you a sneak peek last week!!  Sparkle N Sprinkle released 6 new stamp set last week and this layout uses the new Sunflower set.

To create the background I used several different stencils with inks and embossing paste.  The Journal Mixed Media and Travel Mixed Media stamp set was also used on the background.

The Sunflowers were stamped with black ink and color with copic markers.  Using a glue pen I added Spirited GreenDaisy and Bronze Splendor glitter to the flowers and leaves.  They were fussy cut out and arranged on the page.  The brick wall was created using a stencil and embossing paste.  The sparkle you see is Sparkling Snow glitter.  I lightly dusted the embossing powder while it was still wet.

The background was stenciled with the Chevron stencil using orange and green ink.

For the butterflies I used the tutorial for Coloring on Glitter you can find the details HERE.  This is such a pretty technique. They were then fussy cut out.  I arrange them on the page and added doodles.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed my layout.  If you would like more details on this project please visit my SNS Gallery.

Enjoy your weekend and remember.....Keep Stamping!!
