Hope you are having fun on this "special" hop!!

For my card I choose to create a puzzle ribbon in  honor of Autism Awareness.  Since my grandson was diagnosed with Autism this really has a special place in my heart!!

To create the look of a puzzle, I die cut the Awareness Ribbon Doily Die from cardstock and placed it on top of a piece of white cardstock.  Using colored pencils I colored in the open areas.  Once the areas were colored in I used a glue pen and glittered them with Daisy, Ocean, Terrific Blue and Fire Engine Red glitter.  I then cut around the ribbon.

The die cut ribbon was then inked with versamark ink and embossed with Dark Night EP.  The glittered ribbon was then glued underneath the embossed ribbon.  I really love have it resembles puzzle pieces with represent Autism Awareness.

I used Spellbinder's Radiant Rectangles to create the easel card.  The frame for the card was die cut from sticker paper and glittered using Ocean glitter.  On the second layer I used my finger tool and applied Brushable Glue to the edges and glittered using Evening Glow glitter.

The sentiment was computer generated.

The inside of the card was die cut using the same Radiant Rectangles dies.  Ocean and Sparkling Snow glitter added the sparkle.  The edges were inked with Tim Holtz's Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and a large pearl was placed in the center.

A little sneak peek of projects to come!!  Be sure to come on back to see the entire projects!

Hopefully you came from Chris's  blog.  Your next stop on the Awareness Campaign Blog Hop is Ashley.  If you get lost along the way or have a problem with a link, the complete list of Designers is located on both the Die-Versions Blog as well as the Sparkle N Sprinkle Blog.  Happy Hopping!

Christmas in July

Good afternoon all, hope your day has been great!!  I'm sharing a Christmas card today using the new 3 Wise Men Digi from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

First thing I created the background paper using the Lacey Glitter technique.  Golden Silver and Sassy Silver Glitter was used along with sticker paper to create this beautiful background.

The images was printed onto cardstock and color using Prisma Pencils.  Sparkle was added to the men using a glue pen, along with Ocean, Spirited Green, Evening Glow and Purple Dust glitter.  The glittery frame was die cut from sticker paper using Sizzix Funky Label Dies.  The protective backing was removed and glittered with Fire Engine Red glitter.

The sentiment was printed onto cardstock also, with ends cut to create a banner.  Edges were inked with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink and placed on the card using pop dots.

The wait is almost over....a few more days until the HUGE Joint Blog Hop for Cancer Awareness. Mark your calendars for this Friday, July 31 at 9pm Eastern time. Fabulous prizes will be awarded from both companies and proceeds from the sale of dies and stamp sets revealed during this blog hop will be donated to cancer research!

Season Greetings

Good morning everyone, hope your weekend it off to a great start!!  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card using the newly released Tree Scene and Reindeer stamp sets.

The tree images were stamped with versamark and embossed using Golden Sparkle EP.  Using the silhouette deer stamp, it was stamped with versamark and embossed using Tinsel EP.  A small red rhinestone was placed on his nose.  To create some sparkle on the card base, strips of 1/2 Tear-ific Tape were placed on the edges and glitter using Elegant Emerald glitter.  The second layer strips of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape was placed along the edges and glitter using Golden Silver glitter. I hope you are able to see all of the pretty sparkle!!

To add some snow to the trees I used a glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

The sentiment was stamped with versamark and embossed with Black Detail EP.

To finished off the card a snowflake was cut using the Silhouette from sticker paper and glittered with Sassy Silver glitter.  A small drop of White Opal Liquid Pearls was added to the center of the snowflake.

Naughty or Nice!!

It's Christmas in July!!  Sparkle N Sprinkle's July Reveal was all about Christmas, with some pretty new stamp sets.  Here is a card using the Christmas Goose set.

I stamped the goose with black ink and colored with copic markers.  He was fussy cut out, and then I applied dimensional glue to his body and face.  Twinkling Snow flocking was applied to the body and face.  For the lights I applied a drop of dimensional glue and glittered with Fire Engine Red, Orange Surprise, Daisy, Purple Dust, Elegant Emerald and Ocean glitter.

A glue pen was used on the string of  lights, socks and hat for more sparkle using Spirited Green and Cyclamen glitter.

The border was cut using Anna Griffin's border die and embossing folder.  I use a glue pen to add glitter to the snowflakes and glittered using Silver Dreams glitter.  Two strips of cardstock was cut and 1/8" Tear-ific Tape was placed on  one strip and glittered using Elegant Emerald glitter.  The second strip I placed a piece of 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape and glittered with Fire Engine Red glitter.  This really created a beautiful border strip for my silly goose.

The sentiemnt was stamped on top of the background paper using black ink.  I used three small drops of dimensional glue covered them with Fire Engine Red glitter for sparkly accents.

For the background panel, I used a piece of super adhesive sheet placed on a piece of cardstock.  Removed the protective backing and covered it with Twinkling Snow flocking.  The panel was then embossed using Anna Griffin's snowflake embossing folder.  Here you will find a tutorial on how to create this look.

The snowflake was die cut and glittered with brushable glue and Silver Dream glitter.

Hope you have enjoyed my card, be sure to check out all the new stamp sets from Sparkle N Sprinkle's July Release.
