Happy Halloween all, hope you are having some spooky fun tonight and enjoying our blog hop!!!  There are 7 amazing stamp sets this month and I really had so much fun playing with them.  I used the Winter Bird House to create a step card with lots of sparkly winter trees and snowflakes.  I would love to show you how my card was created!!

I created three blue panels that were stenciled used Simon Says Falling Snow stencil and embossing paste.  While the paste was wet I sprinkled Sparkling Snow on top to give it a beautiful sparkle.

The image was then stamped and colored using copic markers.  Sparkle was added to the image using Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow, Waterfall, Pistachio and Fire Engine Red glitter.  For the falling snow I put small drops of dimensional glue and glittered with Sparkling Snow. The edges were inked with Memento Bahama Blue ink.

The pretty side trees using Heartfelt Creations Snow Kissed Collections.  Brushable glue was applied on top of each tree and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  To same of the tree branches I applied White Liquid Applique, let it dry and heat set.  It really gave the tree branches a snowy look.  Small blue birds were cut using my Silhouette and placed on the trees.

The right side was repeated with the same techniques.  A small snowflake was die cut using the same die set, brushable glue was applied and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  A small drop of Caribbean Ocean Crystal Drop was applied to the center.

The snow banks were die cut using Elizabeth Craft's Outdoor Edges.  They were inked, glittered using Sparkling Snow and Nuvo Large Glue Pen.

Hope you have enjoyed my project I really love how pretty it turned out.

Here is a sneak peek of 5 project to come using more of the new stamp sets.  I hope you will stop back by to see all of the details on each project.

Thanks so much for stopping by enjoy the blog hop, your next stop is the very talented JESS!!

Christmas Candles

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!!  We are enjoying some cool fall weather here in Houston, TX!!!  I would like to share a Christmas card with you today using the new Christmas Candle stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I started my card by embossing the green cardstock using a Anna Griffin embossing folder.  Using my finger on the raised embossed areas Platinum Mousse was added to give that pretty shimmer.  The frame is also from a embossing folder from Anna Griffin that was cut around and glittered using Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.  Nuvo Cooper Gliding Flakes was applied to the lattice die.  I used the large Nuvo Glue Pen on the die cut let it dry slightly and then applied the flakes.  I really love how pretty this turned out!!

Next the rose image was stamped and colored using copic markers.  Sparkle was added using a glue pen, Sparkling Snow, Champagne, Sunny Daze and Green Iris. The image was then fussy cut out.  On the red berries Clear Crystal Drops were applied.  Next I applied Cloud Nine glitter on top of a piece of super adhesive sheet stamped the candles and colored with copic makers.  They were fussy cut out and placed behind the rose.

O Christmas Tree

Good morning everyone, hope your day is off to a great start!!!  I hope you were able to join the Sparkle N Sprinkle October 1st Reveal, and see all the new stamp sets for this month.  Today I would like to share a card with you using the new Christmas Tag #1 stamp set, Tear-ific Tape and lots of Glitter!!

This card has so much sparkle!!!  Let me show you how that was achieved.

The plaid background was started using Fire Engine Red, Champagne, Elegant Emerald glitter and Tear-ific Tape.

Strips of 1/2 Tear-ific Tape were placed on my cardstock.  The backing was removed and Fire Engine Red glitter was applied, burnish well with my finger.  The excess glitter was brushed off.

Next 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed on top of the 1/2" tape.

The backing was removed and Elegant Emerald glitter was applied.  Repeating the steps.

More strips of 1/4" and 1/8" Tear-ific Tape were added.

The backing was removed and glittered using Champagne glitter.

This background turned out so beautiful and was perfect for my stamped image.  The image was stamped with versamark and embossed using Golden Sparkle EP.  The image was stamped a 2nd time, embossed and the tree was fussy cut out.  Using Nuvo Glue Pen glitter was added to the tree and numbers. The pretty snowflake is a Heartfelt Creations die from the Snow Kissed Collections.  The image was placed on top of the snowflake using pop dots, and the tree was placed on top of the main image tree using a pop dot.

I just love how pretty and sparkly this card turned out!
