Christmas

Good morning everyone, hope you are having a wonderful week so far!! I would like to share a shadowbox card for you using the new Spirit of Christmas Poinsettias stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  I did use the colored digi stamp for this project.  Let me show you how this project came together.

To start create the shadowbox I started with a piece of white cardstock 8.25 x 11 which was cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" twice.  One piece was embossed around the edges using the Crystal Snowflake stamp set, versamark and Golden Sparkle EP. Small drops of Ruby Slipper Glitter Drops were placed in the center of the snowflakes. Each end of both panels were scored at 1/2" and 1".  The ends were valley folded to create the card.  This really create a beautiful card.

The opening was cut in the middle of the panel using the Tonic Eastern Oyster Layering Dies.  It was cut a second time using the same die, one die smaller and sticker paper to create the frame.  The backing was removed from the sticker paper and glittered using Fire Engine Red glitter.

The poinsettias were sized and cut out using the colored stamp.  Sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Spirited Green glitter.  Small drops of Morning Dew Crystal Drops were placed in the center of each flower.  A small pull ribbon was added.

The sentiment was re sized and printed onto the back panel.

Thanks so much for stopping by have a great day and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

Well hope you are having fun with the Christmas In July blog hop, Christmas will be here before we know it!!  These cute stamp are a great way to get your cards started for the holidays.  I choose to use the Winter Greetings Birds and Wreath (digi).  I love this stamp set with all the cute little birds and beautiful wreath.  Let me show you how this came together.
All of the images were re sized and printed out using the color version.  They were then cut out using the Silhouette.  Sparkle was added to the wreath using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen along with Spirited Green glitter.  For the berries small drops of Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive was placed on each on of them and glittered using Fire Engine Red glitter.

I printed the paper from the digi bundle Winter Greetings.  Using this template my card base was made.
The digi paper was cut and layered onto the panels. Around the front and bottom panels sparkle was added using the small glue pen and Elegant Emerald glitter.

These cute little birds also needs some sparkle and that was added using the glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

The bow was enlarged, printed and cut out.  Fire Engine Red glitter was added using the glue pen.  It was placed on top of the wreath using foam tape.

The sentiment was printed out after re sizing and glittered using the same glue pen and Fire Engine Red glitter.

I hope you have enjoyed my card I love working with the digi stamp sets, you can make them any size to fit your project.  I hope you will give them a try!

From Small Beginnings

Good morning all hope you are having a great day!!  Today I would like to share a card made using the new Swallowtail Butterflies #856 stamp set.  I just love this beautiful set.  So let's get started.

The butterfly was stamped onto embossable acetate using the misti.  Using the misti lets you re stamp the stamp without having any mistakes. Anti-static bag was used on the acetate and the image was stamped with black ink and embossed using Clear EP.

The butterfly was then fussy cut out and colored using sharpie markers on the back side. Small pearls were added to the center.

Using the Sizzix butterfly border die the border was cut. Sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.  A strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed in the center and glittered using Hyacinth glitter.

The sentiment was stamped in black ink and embossed using Clear EP.  Small drops of Nuvo Wisteria Purple Crystal Drops.
