Eclipse Technique Cards

Good afternoon all, hope you are all having a wonderful day!!  Today I would like to share my Eclipse Technique cards with you. I have been seeing this beautiful technique and had to give it a try.  These turned so pretty I will be using this technique again.  Let me tell you how they came together.

Dies from Anna Griffin were used to create both of these cards.  The sentiments were die cut first out of white and then cut 3 more times from black cardstock.  Leaving the white die cut in place the card was stamped with the Corner Garden Stamp Set from Sparkle N Sprinkle on both corners and on top of the lettering.  The images were then colored with Tombow makers and blended with the Glitter Gloss Pen from Nuvo.

Once the coloring was completed the die cut was removed and layered together with the black die cut.  This was then placed but onto the card base using foam dots.  The black die cuts gave the letters a pretty shadow.  The small butterflies were stamped and colored using the Tombow markers.  This stamp also comes from the Corner Garden Stamp Set.  Small drops of Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops were placed in the flower centers on the Hello card and Honey Gold Glitter Drops were place in the centers on the Blessed card.  Using a small glue pen Sparkling Snow glitters was added to the images to give a pretty little sparkle.
I love this technique and will definitely be using it again.  Hope you will try it also, you can find a tutorial HERE for more details.
Thanks so much for stopping by have a wonderful weekend and remember....Keep Stamping!!
