Happy Holidays

Good morning all, it has been a crazy weekend here in Houston!!!  We have had so much rain water almost in my home!
here this morning with a Christmas Card using the Christmas Spirit Fairy stamp set.  This stamp is only available in digi.  She is really pretty and you get 2 color images and a black and white image which you can color.  Let me show you how my step card came together.

To start the project I printed out the background paper using the Winter Greetings digi papers.  The card base was made using this template.

The digi papers panels were then cut and adhered to the card base.

The pretty fairy was then sized and printed out using the color image.  Small drops of Morning Dew Crystal Drops were added to the dots.  Sparkle was added to the image using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Pinkerbell, Mermaid and Spirited Green glitter.  Small drop of Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops was placed on the center of the poinsettias.

.

The snowflakes were stamped with Bahama Blue Memento ink using the Crystal Snowflake stamp set.  Mermaid glitter was placed on the snowflake using the small glue pen.  They were placed on the card using form dots.

A strip of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape was placed on the card front backing removed and glittered using Mermaid glitter.  The sentiment was printed out and punched with a label punch.

So Grateful

Good morning all,  hope your day is going great  Today I would like to share a project with you using the new Basket of Hope stamp set and a pretty background technique.  Let's get started on all the details.

To create the background for this project I used watercolor paper and distress inks.  The paper was covered with the distress inks using a blending tool.  Next I took a piece of paper towel and misted it with water.  The wet towel was placed on top of the paper and let sit on top for 30 minutes.

The paper towel was removed and the background was revealed.  I love how the design on the paper towel was transferred to the background paper.  The inks blending together so pretty!

The sentiment was then stamped onto the background paper using Dust Rust Chalk Ink.  A little sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Bronze Splendor glitter.

The image was then stamped on to watercolor paper using the Tim Holtz's Platform and
StazOn ink.  The image was colored on the platform using Nuvo Aqua Markers.  Once the  colors were dry, I re stamped the image using versamark and heated embossing with Coffee EP.  That is the fun of using the platform you can re stamp as many times as you like.  The embossing over the watercolors looked so pretty!  The image was then fussy cut out.

Using a piece of fall ribbon I placed a strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape in the middle and removed the backing.  Sparkle was added to the ribbon using Creamsicle and Bronze Splendor glitter.  Small drops of Bottle Green Crystal Drops were added.

Hi all, hope you are loving this month's reveal!!  There are so many beautiful and fun stamp sets as well as the beautiful paper bundle.  I used the digi Dream Catcher Maiden and the Saguaro Desert Landscape Paper Pack for my project.  Let's get started on how this came together, I just love how pretty it is!!

The sentiment was placed on the paper before I printed it out.  Once printed sparkle was added to the cacti using the Medium Nuvo Glue Pen and Starfire glitter.  Small drops of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops were added.  The background paper was layered onto cardstock and a small line of glue using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen was placed along the edges and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.

Using the digi color stamp the cute maiden was sized, printed and cut out using the Silhouette.  I cut a shadow piece using black cardstock to really show off the beauty of this stamp.  Sparkle was added using the Small Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow, Starfire, Waterfall, Evening Glow, Spirited Green, The Beach, Aqua Marine, Hyacinth, and Bubblegum glitter.  The image was placed on the shadow piece using foam dots and then onto the background paper using foam dots.  Feathers were placed behind the image.  Small dots of Ebony Black Crystal Drops were also used on the maiden.

Glue was placed on the word dream using the Small Glue Pen and glittered using Black Suede glitter.

I just love how pretty and sparkly this card turned out.  You can really create beautiful projects using the digi stamps and paper.  I hope you will give it a try!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have fun on the blog hop!

Have a Nice Day

Good afternoon all, hope you had a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!!
Today I would like to share with you a card made using masking technique with a really cool layering stamp set from Hampton Arts. If you haven't visited the new SNS website lately, you might not know that Sparkle N Sprinkle also sells a nice selection of Hampton Art, Stampendous, House Mouse, and Tonic Studios rubber stamps

To create the background I used Color Burst and water on watercolor paper.

The paper was then misted to create a really beautiful background.

Once misted this is what I had.  I lightly rolled a roll of paper towel on top to pick up the water.

Once dry this is how it looked, I was really pleased.  The next step was to stamp the fern image using Memento Cottage Ivy and heat emboss using Clear EP

Next the flamingo was stamped several times using Memento Lady Bug and Picked Raspberry Distress ink.  I continue stamping with the inks until I achieved the look I was going far.  The image was then fussy cut out.

I stamped the pineapple and flower images out once and fussy cut them out to do the masking technique.  The images were then stamped using the mask to create this pretty panel.  The small flowers were placed on the panel using foam dots as well as the flamingo.  The sentiment was stamped in black ink using the Tropical Stamp and heat embossed with Clear EP. Sparkle was added using the small Nuvo Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

The masking technique is really fun and works great with these layering stamps.  I hope you will give it a try here you can find a tutorial using this technique.

Warm Wishes

Good morning all and thanks for stopping by!!  Today I would like to share a cute Christmas card using the new Crystal Snowflake stamp set along with the Eskimo Kisses stamp all from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Come on along for all the details on how to make this sweet card.

To start my card I needed to create the background.  To do this a piece of white cardstock was stamped with versamark using the small snowflake from the Crystal Snowflake stamp set.  The snowflakes were heat embossed using White Spark EP.  Next the cardstock was ink using Memento  Bahama Blue and a sponge.  The embossed areas resisted the ink and created a pretty soft background.

Here is a closer look at the background paper.  Small drops of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops were placed in the center of each snowflake.

Next the cute little girl and snowman was printed using the color digi image from the Eskimo Kisses stamp set.  Sparkle was added using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen, Fascination, Sparkling Snow and Eggplant glitter.  The image was cut out using the Silhouette and  placed on the card front using foam dots.

The small snowflake from the Crystal Snowflake stamp set was stamped with versamark and embossed with White Spark EP.  The snowflake was fussy cut out and placed on the card using foam dots.  A small pearl was placed in the center.

Every Snowflake is a Wonder

Good morning all it's another Christmas in July card using the new Crystal Snowflake stamp set and the digi Winter Greetings paper bundle from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Let's get started on how this came together.

The digi paper was printed out and cut into strips to create the pendant and border strip.  Using Tear-ific Tape sparkle was added using the Fire Engine Red and Sassy Glitter.

The background panel was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Shimmer was added using Cornflower Blue Mousse.

The larger snowflake was stamped with versamark and embossed using Tinsel EP.  The smaller snowflake was stamped with Memento Bahama Blue ink fussy cut out and glittered using Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.  A small drop of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops was added to the center.

Next the sentiment was stamped with the Bahama Blue ink and punched using an Fisker oval punch.  Small drops of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops were placed on the ends and also in the centers of the snowflakes.
