Happy Holidays

Good morning all, it has been a crazy weekend here in Houston!!!  We have had so much rain water almost in my home!
here this morning with a Christmas Card using the Christmas Spirit Fairy stamp set.  This stamp is only available in digi.  She is really pretty and you get 2 color images and a black and white image which you can color.  Let me show you how my step card came together.

To start the project I printed out the background paper using the Winter Greetings digi papers.  The card base was made using this template.

The digi papers panels were then cut and adhered to the card base.

The pretty fairy was then sized and printed out using the color image.  Small drops of Morning Dew Crystal Drops were added to the dots.  Sparkle was added to the image using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Pinkerbell, Mermaid and Spirited Green glitter.  Small drop of Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops was placed on the center of the poinsettias.

.

The snowflakes were stamped with Bahama Blue Memento ink using the Crystal Snowflake stamp set.  Mermaid glitter was placed on the snowflake using the small glue pen.  They were placed on the card using form dots.

A strip of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape was placed on the card front backing removed and glittered using Mermaid glitter.  The sentiment was printed out and punched with a label punch.

The Tassel Was Worth The Hassle

Good morning all, hope you are having a great week!!!  Rain has finally stopped here in Houston, so the grandchildren are off to the pool.  Summer has started!!

Today I would like to share my last project a step card from Sparkle N Sprinkle's June Reveal, using the digi Graduation Bundle.  This is a great digi bundle, be sure to check it out!

Let's get started on my step card.  The card base was created using this template and designer paper.  Next all of the images were sized and printed out.  They were then cut using my Silhouette.

Here is the cute cap image which was resized before printing.  Sparkle was added using dimesional glue on the hat and Black Suede glitter.  On the books, ribbon and 2 of the bottles glitter was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Spirited Green and Starfire glitter.  The image was placed on the card using foam dots.

The banner was created the same using Sunny Daze, Fire Engine Red, Spirited Green and Starfire glitter along with the small glue pen.

The light bulb, hat and tassel were covered with dimensional glue and Black Suede glitter.  The center of the bulb was glittered with Sunny Daze and then covered with glossy accents.  This was left to dry overnight.  The bulb was placed on the card panel using foam dots.

To finish off the sentiment was printed and die cut using the Tonic Eastern Oyster dies.  The edges were glittered using the small glue pen and Fire Engine Red Glitter.  Small drops of Ebony Black Crystal Drops were added.  A strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed in the center of the designer paper and glittered using Fire Engine Red glitter.

Happy Halloween all, hope you are having some spooky fun tonight and enjoying our blog hop!!!  There are 7 amazing stamp sets this month and I really had so much fun playing with them.  I used the Winter Bird House to create a step card with lots of sparkly winter trees and snowflakes.  I would love to show you how my card was created!!

I created three blue panels that were stenciled used Simon Says Falling Snow stencil and embossing paste.  While the paste was wet I sprinkled Sparkling Snow on top to give it a beautiful sparkle.

The image was then stamped and colored using copic markers.  Sparkle was added to the image using Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Sparkling Snow, Waterfall, Pistachio and Fire Engine Red glitter.  For the falling snow I put small drops of dimensional glue and glittered with Sparkling Snow. The edges were inked with Memento Bahama Blue ink.

The pretty side trees using Heartfelt Creations Snow Kissed Collections.  Brushable glue was applied on top of each tree and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  To same of the tree branches I applied White Liquid Applique, let it dry and heat set.  It really gave the tree branches a snowy look.  Small blue birds were cut using my Silhouette and placed on the trees.

The right side was repeated with the same techniques.  A small snowflake was die cut using the same die set, brushable glue was applied and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  A small drop of Caribbean Ocean Crystal Drop was applied to the center.

The snow banks were die cut using Elizabeth Craft's Outdoor Edges.  They were inked, glittered using Sparkling Snow and Nuvo Large Glue Pen.

Hope you have enjoyed my project I really love how pretty it turned out.

Here is a sneak peek of 5 project to come using more of the new stamp sets.  I hope you will stop back by to see all of the details on each project.

Thanks so much for stopping by enjoy the blog hop, your next stop is the very talented JESS!!

Hope you are having fun on the blog hop!!  The stamp sets this month are amazing, and I had a blast playing with them all!!!  I used the digi Turkey Dish for my step card.

To start the back panel

I used a piece of sticker paper, Dreamweaver stencil and coconut soap.  Place the stencil on top of the sticker paper after rubbing the back with the soap.  The soap will help the stencil to come off easier.  Starting with the lightest glitter Sunny Daze, then Sunset glitter was added.  With each glitter I burnish well with my finger then the stencil was turned upside down to remove the excess glitter before the next glitter.  I brushed well with the glitter brush to remove any excess glitter.  Being very careful the stencil was removed and the remaining sticky areas were covered with Bronze Splendor and burnish well with the finger tool.  The excess glitter was brushed off.  Here is a tutorial on this technique.

The background is just beautiful and so sparkly!!

The images were printed off, I used the color option.  Sparkle was added to her using a Nuvo Glue Pen, Sunset, Spirited Green, Dazzling Rose, Sassy Silver, Golden Silver and Sunny Daze glitter.  Ebony Black Crystal Drops were placed on top of the black dots.  I covered her glasses with dimensional glue, which dries clear and gave the look of glass.  She was then fussy cut out. For the background panel I used a Sizzix leaf embossing folder.  Nuvo Mother of Pearl Mousse was applied to the raised areas using my finger.  This really gave a pretty look to the leaves.

The sentiments were printed and punched using Fisker's Oval and Scalloped punches.  The edges were inked with Spiced Marmalade ink, small dots of Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops were added to the edges.  Small leaves were punched and applied to the ovals.  A strip of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape was placed on top of the bottom panel the protective backing was removed and a strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed on top.  The 1/2" strip was covered with Sunset glitter burnish well and brushed off. The backing of the 1/4" strip was removed and covered with Bronze Splendor glitter repeating the steps.

To finished off the top of the card vellum leaves were punched and inked with Spiced Marmalade ink.  They were placed on the top of the card along with an acorn and a Pull Ribbon bow.

I will leave you with a sneak peek of project to come!!!  I hope you will stop back by to see all the details.

We hope you enjoy the New Reveal Blog Hop as much as we do.  Thanks for joining us and remember to comment on each of the Designers' blogs to be eligible for the Grand Prize.

Sweet Holidays

Good morning all, hope your day is going great!!
I want to share a project with you today, that I gave a sneak peek of last week. It is using one of Sparkle N Sprinkle's new stamp sets.  On this card I used the new Sweet Holiday set.

To create the icicles. use dimensional glue and Diamond Dust glitter.  Using a piece of acetate place glue onto it and then cover with glitter.  Let dry and peel away from acetate.

The cute little fence and snowflake was cut using Silhouette file.  The string of lights is from the Holiday House (Elizabeth Craft Design Pop N Cut).

The images were all colored using copic markers.  To create the snow banks I used the Outdoor Edges dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  They were inked and glitter using Sparkling Snow glitter.
To create the background I used a gelli plate and Cuttlebug's snowflake embossing folder.

A look at the back panel.  The small trees are also from Outdoor Edges, they were glittered using a glue pen and Elegant EmeraldGolden Silver and Silver Dreams glitter.  For the big trees they were cut using Elizabeth Craft Designs Evergreen Pivot Card dies

The snowflakes was also cut using Silhouette files and glittered using
Silver Dreams glitter.  The pretty bling in the middle is Mon Ami Gabby's diamond mesh silver flowers.
