Hope you are having fun on the blog hop!! The stamp sets this month are amazing, and I had a blast playing with them all!!! I used the digi Turkey Dish for my step card.
To start the back panel
I used a piece of sticker paper, Dreamweaver stencil and coconut soap. Place the stencil on top of the sticker paper after rubbing the back with the soap. The soap will help the stencil to come off easier. Starting with the lightest glitter Sunny Daze, then Sunset glitter was added. With each glitter I burnish well with my finger then the stencil was turned upside down to remove the excess glitter before the next glitter. I brushed well with the glitter brush to remove any excess glitter. Being very careful the stencil was removed and the remaining sticky areas were covered with Bronze Splendor and burnish well with the finger tool. The excess glitter was brushed off. Here is a tutorial on this technique.
The background is just beautiful and so sparkly!!
The images were printed off, I used the color option. Sparkle was added to her using a Nuvo Glue Pen, Sunset, Spirited Green, Dazzling Rose, Sassy Silver, Golden Silver and Sunny Daze glitter. Ebony Black Crystal Drops were placed on top of the black dots. I covered her glasses with dimensional glue, which dries clear and gave the look of glass. She was then fussy cut out. For the background panel I used a Sizzix leaf embossing folder. Nuvo Mother of Pearl Mousse was applied to the raised areas using my finger. This really gave a pretty look to the leaves.
The sentiments were printed and punched using Fisker's Oval and Scalloped punches. The edges were inked with Spiced Marmalade ink, small dots of Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops were added to the edges. Small leaves were punched and applied to the ovals. A strip of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape was placed on top of the bottom panel the protective backing was removed and a strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed on top. The 1/2" strip was covered with Sunset glitter burnish well and brushed off. The backing of the 1/4" strip was removed and covered with Bronze Splendor glitter repeating the steps.
To finished off the top of the card vellum leaves were punched and inked with Spiced Marmalade ink. They were placed on the top of the card along with an acorn and a Pull Ribbon bow.
I will leave you with a sneak peek of project to come!!! I hope you will stop back by to see all the details.
We hope you enjoy the New Reveal Blog Hop as much as we do. Thanks for joining us and remember to comment on each of the Designers' blogs to be eligible for the Grand Prize.
