With all the cold weather here in Texas, I have had plenty of time for paper crafting!! A few weeks ago I gave you a sneak peek of layouts to come and today I am going to share one with you. This page is very "special" to me, as it is of my brave son who served in the Army for many years!! We are all so very PROUD of him!!
This picture was taken while on duty in AF, his 2nd deployment.
I stamped the sentiment onto red cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. Cut the end of the cardstock to create a banner.
For the striped strip I used white cardstock and different sizes of tear-ific tape. Once the tape was placed at random I removed the protective backing and glittered. The star strip was cut from blue cardstock and backed with red cardstock the stars were punched and glittered with Reflection glitter.
The banner was cut
using different piece of DP
and attached to bakers twine.
