Stained Glass Birthday Card!

Well we are having another cold dreary day here in Houston!!!  We have really had a cold winter for this part of the country.  I have a very dear friend who lives in Maine, and I know that it is so much colder there than here, so not to complain about the cold.  Hope you all are staying warm and safe and getting a lot of paper crafting done :)

I would like to share a very pretty birthday card I just finished using Sparkle N Sprinkle products for a very "special" friend.

I am so please with the way this has turned out!!  I used the Video Technique Club tutorial to create the background (Bokeh technique).  This is a beautiful way to create a very stunning background.  Be sure to take the time to see Jill's video on how to create this so simple, but so pretty technique.  I used pink and green inks for the background and combined 2 glitters for the sparkle Diamond Dust and Bubblegum.  For the glue you will also need to use a sponge dauber and Dimensional Glue.

Stamp the Stained Glass Rounds onto Embossable Acetate, see SNS Tutorial glitter on acetate.  I used Rosy Red, Lady Luck and Green Iris glitter.  Once dry 1-2 hours die cut using Spellbinder's circle dies.  Die cut 2 fancy circles using Spellbinder's Fancy Circle Dies and 1 circle die.  Using green iris and brushable glue glitter edges of green fancy circle.

I used some lace ribbon that I found at a local craft store, it is so pretty and delicate.  For a little added "sparkle" I place a piece of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape, remove the protective covering and add Rosy Red glitter.  Adhere to background paper, adhere background paper to card front.  Place stamped image on card.  The sentiment was computer generated.

I hope you all have time to view both tutorials for this card,  really fun and beautiful techniques!!

Thanks for stopping by, stay warm and remember.....Keep Stamping!!
