Scrapy Land Challenge #85

Good morning everyone it's the 1st Wednesday of the month and that means it's time for a new Scrapy Land Challenge  The theme is always ANYTHING GOES using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.  In addition, we have TWO WINNERS for each challenge.  One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team.  Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

Using the Tonic Studios Window Box Die Set I created a St. Patrick's Day Card.  This a really pretty die for a 3d type projects.  The clover was made using Spellbinder's Heart dies.  I die cut 6 hearts and placed 3 on top of the bottom 3 to give a little more dimension to the clover.  A small pearl and ribbon was added.  The background paper was embossed using the 3d embossing folder from Crafter's Companion.  Small drops of Honey Gold Glitter drops were placed on the embossing.  For the front panels the background layer was die cut using sticker paper.  The top layer was placed on top of the sticker paper and they remaining openings were glittered using Waterfall glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
Now it's your turn!!  Head on over to Scrapy Land to see the amazing projects my design team members have created for today's challenge. Then link up your Anything Goes project using a brand of die Scrapy Land carries. I can't wait to see what you create   You have until March 18th to upload your projects

St. Patrick's Day Card

Good afternoon everyone, thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  I did not get this posted before St. Patrick's Day, but would like to share it today.  This is a gate fold card made using the digi Irish Blessing stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Come along while I show you how it all came together.

The panels for the card were cut and Key Lime Jewel Drops were added to 2 of the panels.  Next the images were resized and cut using the Silhouette.

Sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Spirited Green and Celestial glitter.  Small drops of Pale Honey Crystal Drops were added to the center of the shamrocks.

The shamrocks were also printed and cut using the Silhouette.  They were glittered using Spirited Green glitter.  The sentiment was stamped using the rubber stamp from the set.

A look at the card open.  This is a really cute stamp set, so much fun to work with both the digi and rubber stamps.  Be sure to hop over to the Sparkle N Sprinkle store to see all the wonderful products!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Good morning everyone, the weekend is almost here and my oldest grandson will be here for a visit.  It's always fun when he visits!!!  Today I would like to share a St. Paddy's Day card with you using the new digi Edward the Elephant #1 stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

To start my project I needed to create the background.  I didn't have a clover stencil so I looked at my Silhouette files and found one cut it out and create my own stencil.  It was then placed and tape on top of my cardstock and covered with Emerald Green Glimmer Paste from Nuvo.

Use a palette knife and cover the stencil with the glimmer paste. Cover the entire stencil with the glimmer paste.  Once finished remove the stencil and allow to dry.

The end results is so beautiful and can be done with any stencil and paste.

Next I resized and printed out Edward using the color version of the stamp set.  This was cut out using my Silhouette.  Edward needed a bit of sparkle and that was added using the new Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Spirited Green, Sparkling Snow, Waterfall, and Evening Glow glitter. Small drops of Pale Gold Crystal Drops were added to the background and sentiment.

Glitter was added to the sentiment using the glue pen and Aztec Gold glitter.  A strip of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape was placed around the card base layer and glittered using the Aztec Gold glitter.

Thanks so much for stopping have a wonderful day and remember......Keep Stamping!!

Happy New Years everyone, I hope you have had a wonderful holiday season, and are ready to ring in 2017!!  I am so excited about all of the new stamps this month!!  It was really hard for me to choose one stamp but I picked the digi only stamp set Edward Elephant St. Patrick #1 to create my easel card.

To start my card I resized the images, printed and cut them out using my Silhouette.  I did use the color version for the main images .  The easel card was cut using my Silhouette as well.  The paper doily was inked with versamark and heated embossed using Sparkle EP.  Drops of Pale Gold and Green Apple Crystal Drops were placed around the scalloped card front.

The main image was die cut using Spellbinder's Circle die.  The smaller circle was placed inside the larger circle using foam dots.  Sparkle was added to the image using the Nuvo Small Glue pen , Sparkling Snow, Spirited Green and Sunny Daze glitters.  The edges were inked using Memento Bamboo Leaves distress ink.

For the shamrocks they were glittered using dimensional glue and Spirited Green glitter.  Small drops of Pale Gold Crystal Drops were placed in the center.

The sentiment was printed and cut out.  Using the glue pen along the edges and on the shamrock Spirited Green glitter was applied.  The sentiment was placed on the card using foam dots.

I would like to leave you with a quick peek of project to come using the new stamp sets.

I hope you will stop back by to see the reveal of each one of them.

Thanks so much for stopping by I hope you have enjoyed my reveal project!  Make sure to stop by each of the talented designers to see all their amazing project!!

Luck of the Irish

Good morning all, the weekend is here!!  As St. Patrick Day is fast approaching, I thought I would share a card using the new just released Lucky Charm (digi) stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

To start my card I layered the blue and green pieces together for a A2 size card.  Next I embossed the white panel using an Anne Griffin embossing folder.  For the frame I used my Silhouette to cut using sticker paper, removed the backing and glittered using Ocean glitter.  It was adhered to the card base using pop dots.

The image was printed using the digi stamp and it was slightly enlarged. That is the fun of using digi stamp you can size them to fit your project.  The image was colored using copic markers.  Once the coloring was complete the horseshoe was fussy cut out and sparkle added using a glue pen, Spirited Green and Fairy Tale Lavender glitters.

The sentiment was stamped using the rubber stamp set and fussy cut around and adhere to the card using pop dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by, please visit Sparkle N Sprinkle to see all the beautiful new stamp sets just released!!
