From Small Beginnings

Good morning all hope you are having a great day!!  Today I would like to share a card made using the new Swallowtail Butterflies #856 stamp set.  I just love this beautiful set.  So let's get started.

The butterfly was stamped onto embossable acetate using the misti.  Using the misti lets you re stamp the stamp without having any mistakes. Anti-static bag was used on the acetate and the image was stamped with black ink and embossed using Clear EP.

The butterfly was then fussy cut out and colored using sharpie markers on the back side. Small pearls were added to the center.

Using the Sizzix butterfly border die the border was cut. Sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.  A strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed in the center and glittered using Hyacinth glitter.

The sentiment was stamped in black ink and embossed using Clear EP.  Small drops of Nuvo Wisteria Purple Crystal Drops.

Thanks so much for stopping by have a wonderful day and remember....Keep Stamping!!

Good Morning All!

Good morning everyone, hope your weekend was wonderful!!!  I have been working on a couple of cards using the same stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle and would like to share the 1st one with you this morning.

I used the Fan Geshia stamp set.  This is such a beautiful set!!  To start my card I stamped the bamboo stamp with versamark onto my background paper and embossed with Cappuccino Star EP.  This was my first time to use this powder and it is just beautiful!

The image was stamped with black ink and colored using copic markers.  To added the sparkle, I used a glue pen and Spirited Green, Waterfall and Champagne glitters.  The edges were ink with blue ink.

For the border piece, it was punched using Martha Stewart scalloped punch.  A piece of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed and glitter using Laser Blue glitter.

Enjoy the rest of your day and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

This month's collections of stamps are just so cute and pretty!!  I couldn't wait to get started using them, hope you feel the same.  I chose to use the Iris Garden set this month.  It is just so pretty and could be used for some many different occasions.

I stamped the images and fussy cut them out, colored with copic markers.  Sparkle was added using a glue pen and Sparkling Snow, Golden Silver and Spirited Green glitters.  Using the tutorial for stamping on glitter, I stamped the sentiment and punched it out using a oval punch.  A few pearls were added and the edges inked.

The window was die cut using the Grand Madison die.  I placed a 1/8" Tear-ific Tape along the window sill and glittered using Princess Anna Fuchsia glitter.

I created my background using my Gelli Plate, acrylic paint and stencils.  Embossing paste and a stencil added some dimension inside the window.  To add some sparkle I dusted the embossing paste with Sparkling Snow glitter.  The window was added to the card base using pop dots.  I placed the iris image on top of the window and added the window sill.  The small iris was placed on top of the window sill along with a pretty bow.  I added the sentiment with pop dots and pretty pearl accents were added along the edge of the card base. The cute butterfly is a brad by Recollections.

A closer look at the background paper.  The Gelli Plate is a wonderful way to create your own backgrounds.  You must try it!!  I placed a piece of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape along the edge of the cardstock remove the backing and glittered with Princess Ann Fuchsia glitter.

Season's Greetings

Good morning all, I would like to share a Christmas layout with you this morning!!

I started my background paper using the new Toyland Bear #674 stamp set that was just released.

Using the pine stamp to create the background in the corners and along the side of the page.  They were stamped with green ink and small dots of dimensional glue was added to the berries and glittered using Fire Engine Red glitter.

The ornament was punch from sticker paper and glittered using the Lacey Glitter Background technique.  You can find a tutorial HERE on how to create this look.

To create the strips of paper I used the snowflake stamp from Snow One Like Me and the Crystal Medallion.  They were stamped with versamark and embossed using White EP.
To create the strips I used 1/8" and 1/4" Tear-ific Tape with Elegant Emerald and Silver Dreams glitter.

The Season's Greetings was die cut using Die-Versions Season's Greeting Script die.  I used brushable glue and Elegant Emerald glitter to add sparkle.

You can find complete details on this layout HERE on my SNS gallery!
Have a great day see you soon!

Last month the winner came from April's blog.  Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize winner this month?

Hope you all are enjoying all the new releases!!
I used the cute Toyland Bear set to create a tag for my layout.

To create the tag I stamped the image with Teddy Brown EP and colored with copic markers.  A second image was stamped and the bear only was colored with copic markers and fussy cut out.  The bear was placed on top of the first image using pop dot.

The tag was cut using my Cameo and a white gel was used to create the stitch lines.  For all that pretty sparkle I used  Sparkling Snow, Fire Engine Red and Spirited Green glitter and a glue pen. The snowflake was punched using Sizzix's Snowflake die and glittered using Sparkling Snow.  Mon Ami Gabby Embellishment was used in the center.

I used a strip of white CS and strips of  1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" Tear-ific Tape to create the sparkly stripes.  Place the tape on top of the CS, remove the backing one strip at a time and apply glitter to each strip.  For the strip I used Lady Luck, Silver Dreams and Fire Engine Red.  I also used 1/2" Tear-ific Tape to create the bow. You can find a tutorial HERE on how to create one.

The title was stamped with versamark and embossed with White EP.
A few snowflakes were punched and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.

Last month the winner came from my blog.  Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize winner this month?

This month I worked with the digital version of the Christmas Dove.  I sized it a little larger, that's the fun of using digital you can make it any size.

The images was printed twice and the doves were cut out of one of them and flocked using  Twinkling Clouds.   Once dry they were placed on top of the colored image with pop dots.  The sentiment was printed slightly bigger as well.

The glittery corners are cut using Anne Griffin die and glittered using brushable glue and Golden Silver glitter.  The edges of the card are glittered using 1/4" Tear-ific Tape and Fire Engine Red glitter.

The background paper is embossed using the new Christmas embossing folders from Anne Griffin.

Using the same digital stamps I created a snow globe shaker card with a smaller image.

The image was printed and colored using copic makers.  I used Spellbinder Circle Dies to create my globe. Punched snowflakes for inside the globe along with Diamond Dust glitter for the shaker effect.

The background is the same Anne Griffin snowflake embossing folder.  The sentiment was printed and added to the bottom of the globe.
The sparkle around the globe is Fire Engine Red and Golden Silver glitter.  The pretty snowflake was cut and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.

For the edges of the card I used 1/8" Tear-ific Tape and Fire Engine Red glitter and 1/4" Tear-ific Tape and Pine Grove tinsel glitter.  The look is so pretty!!

By using digital stamps I was able to create two different sizes images with the same stamp.
If you would like all the details on these two cards please visit my GALLERY.

Hope you are enjoying all the beautiful project by our amazing Design Team.  Good luck to you all!!

Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize this month?

I really had fun with the Witch's Brew stamp set this month!!!   It  works great on a layout as well as a card!  Here is a look at my layout, Pretty Scary!!

I created the background using strips of paper, stencils, the Journal Mixed Media stamps, embossing paste, Memories Mist and gesso.
The haunted houses, spider web, spider and bingo cards were all cut using my Silhouette.

 \

To add so sparkle and bling to the layout, I used 1/8" Tear-ific Tape with Orange Surprise and Purple Rain glitter.  Strips of Mon Ami Gabby Diamond Mesh was also used.  This really add pretty "Sparkle".  Once the background was complete I tore the top and bottom at an angle and distressed the edges before adhering it to the purple cardstock.

To create the tag I stamped the sentiment with versamark, and embossed with Tinsel EP.  The tag was distressed with gesso.

For the 2nd tag the sentiment was stamped with white pigment ink and smeared slightly with  my finger.  I then distress the tag with gesso.

The star of the layout!

She was stamped once on white CS, the 2nd time and 3rd on DP.  I cut the skirt, gloves and hat from different DP and pieced them onto the witch stamped on the white CS. HERE is a wonderful tutorial on paper piecing. I finished coloring the remaining areas with copic markers.  She was then fussy cut out and placed on the layout using pop dots.  The sparkle on her was done using a glue pen and Purple Rain, Spirited Green glitter.

Here is a look at a card I created using the same image.  I will share all the details in the next few days, please stop back by.

Thanks to you all for stopping by, if you would like more details on my project please visit my SNS gallery.

I just love all the new stamp sets!!  My little grand daughter thought the penguin in Under the Mistletoe was so cute so I knew I had to make something with it.  I decided on a tag and a card.  For the tag I made a snow globe.  The globe was embossed with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dot folder.  I also stamped the globe with the Snow One Like Me snowflakes and embossed with Tinsel EP.

I used the SNS Tutorial Coloring on Glitter on the penguin, he then was fussy cut out and place on the snow globe.  The edges of the snow globe were inked with blue ink and glittered using a brush, Brushable Glue and Sparkling Snow glitter.  The snowflakes were cut using Season of Joy Cricut Cartridge.  They were glittered using brushable glue, Sparkling Snow, Waterfall and Fascination glitter.

For the card I used the Tutorial for Dry Embossing Flocking Technique for the background.

I used Cuttlebug's Snowflake embossing folder, and Twinkling Clouds, for the background.  This really turns out so pretty.  For the sparkle around the edge of the card, I used 1/8" Tear-ific Tape remove the backing on the tape and apply Silver Dream Glitter.

 Another look at the background.

For the image I stamped it with black ink and colored using copic markers.  On the white areas of the body and hat Dimensional Glue  and Twinkling Clouds were used for the "Sparkle".  I applied Liquid Glass to the ice cube and dusted lightly with Sparkling Snow glitter.

Here a little sneak peek of a project to come using the Daisies Stamp Set.

Please stop back by to see the entire project!!

Good luck to you all the stamp sets are all beautiful!!!  Please be sure to visit all of the talented and amazing Designers, they all have some beautiful project to share with you.
