It's Christmas in July, and I just love this Christmas Skate stamp set!!  Hope you all are enjoying the blog hop, there are so many pretty stamp sets this month!!  Let me share with you how I created my card.

To create the background I used the tutorial by Demo Donna for a Lacey Glitter background.  This creates such a beautiful sparkly look.  I used Elegant Emerald first then removed the lace and covered the remaining areas with Champagne glitter.  Hope you can see all the beautiful sparkle!!

To start my card I stamped the image and colored with copic markers.  Sparkle was added using a glue pen, Silver Dreams, Bronze Splendor and Margarita glitter.  Margarita is a new glitter and it is gorgeous.  The berries were dotted with Crystal Drops Ruby Slippers.

I placed a piece of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape on the right side of the background paper removed the protective backing and covered with Fire Engine Red glitter.  Next the bow was die cut using Anna Griffin bow die and sticker paper.  The backing was removed and the pieces were glittered with Fire Engine Red glitter.  Want 2 Scrap pearls were placed in the center.

I used the digi stamp for the sentiment, the rubber stamp was to big for the die. The bottom embellishment was die cut using Spellbinder's Radiant Rectangles and sticker paper.  The backing was removed and glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  The sentiment was then placed on top using a foam dot.  To create the background paper, I used Anna Griffin Snowflake embossing folder.  To give the snowflakes a bit of shimmer Nuvo Mother of Pearl Mousse was used on the raised areas.  This was my first time using the mousse and it is just beautiful!!  A small strip of left over lace background was adhered to the middle of the bottom panel.

Here is a sneak peek of projects to come!

We hope you enjoy the New Reveal Blog Hop as much as we do.  Thanks for joining us and remember to visit and comment on each of the eight Designers' blogs to be eligible for the Grand Prize. (Checked for compliance.)
Wonder who the Mystery Host will be this month????

A Single Rose

Good morning all,  I would like to share a card with you today using the Roses digi stamp set.  This stamp set was just released and it is so pretty!!  To start my card I used a Stampin Up rose embossing folder, the edge was cut around and the raised area was inked using Raspberry Distress ink.  The rose image was printed and cut out using my Silhouette.

A Single Rose

The rose was then colored using  copic markers.  Next I applied brushable glue using a small brush on the rose and leaves.  Bubblegum glitter was added to the rose and Spirited Green glitter to the leaves.  A small drop of dimensional glue was placed in the center and gold micro beads were placed on top.  The rose was adhered to the background panel using a pop dot, and a small green pull ribbon was placed behind the rose.

The sentiment was printed out and layered onto black cardstock.    Sherbet Shimmer Crystal Drop was used to make the embellishments.

Celebrate

Good morning everyone, hope you had a wonderful weekend!  This morning I would like to share a card I made using the new Wild Rose Stamp Set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  This beautiful stamp set was just released.  The card background panel was embossed using a Anna Griffin embossing folder.

I wanted more of the flowers on my card so I stamped the image onto white cardstock, stamped the image again and fussy cut it out.   The fussy cut image was used as a mask so that I could stamp the image again slightly above the 1st image.  This created a larger bunch of flowers.  The flowers were then colored using copic markers and fussy cut out.

The edges of the flowers were glittered using a glue pen and Bubblegum glitter.  The leaves were glittered using Spirited Green glitter.  Drops of Glossy Accents were placed in the center of the flowers and gold micro beads were added.  The sentiment was stamped and fussy cut around.  Strips of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape was placed along the edges and glittered using Hyacinth glitter.  I used Demo Donna's tutorial from  May's video kit to create the enamel drop embellishment.

The bird and cage was die cut using Tim Holtz's Caged Bird die.  The cage was inked with grey ink.  Next I applied Crackle Embossing paste to the cage and lightly dusted it with Crystal Ice glitter while the paste was still wet.  Using a pink and blue gelatos I created the background paper for the bird.  The wing was stamped using the Nesting Bird stamp.  The bird was then misted using Tattered Angel Pearl Shimmer Mist.  A small pearl was placed for the eye and larger pearls were placed at the top and bottom of the cage.  Small postage stamps from Graphic 45 were layered on top of the flowers.  Mon Ami Gabby Pull Ribbon was added and the sentiment was adhered on top of the ribbon.

I stamped the flower image again and fussy cut one out colored with copic markers and placed behind the rolled edge.

Friends are Flowers

Good morning, well summer is finally off to a sunny morning!!!  We have had so much rain here in Houston, TX and I love seeing the sunshine!!  Today I would like to share a card with you using the newly release Country Flower stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Demo Donna has a wonderful video tutorial using the stamp set, be sure to check it out!!

To start my card I needed to create my background using Want 2 Scrap Brick Wall stencil and Dreamweaver Embossing Paste. While the paste was still wet I dusted it lightly with Crystal Ice glitter.   Once the paste was dry the edge was cut to create a space for my sentiment.  The edges were glittered using Aqua Marine and Bubblegum glitter along with a glue pen.

Closer look at the pretty sparkly background!  To have the brads coordinate with my project I used this tutorial along with Lagoon Blue EP.  I love to use this technique!!

My image was stamped with versamark on to watercolor paper and embossed using Black Detail EP. Using a small paint brush, gelatos and a small amount of water my image was colored.  This is the first time I have used my gelatos to color small areas and I really love how it turned out.

My sweet little butterflies were die cut using a Stampin Up die.  Aqua Marine glitter was used for the pretty sparkle and small dots of White Crystal Drops were placed in the middle.  The sentiment was stamped with versamark and embossed using Black Detail EP.  To finish off my card I used Demo Donna's tutorial- (May's Video Kit) to create the enamel drops.  I did change my up a bit, as I did not have the Morning Dew Drops which die clear.  Instead I used White Blizzard Glitter Drops and it worked just great.  It gives the drops a bit of sparkle which I was very pleased with.  Give this technique a try, you will love it!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day, and remember.....Keep Stamping!!
