Card In A Box

Good morning everyone hope you are having a blessed day!!  This morning I would like to share a Card In A Box with you.  I have been seeing these all over Pinterest and wanted to make one.  A sweet lady at church was having a birthday today and I thought it would be perfect for her.

You can find all kinds of tutorials on Pinterest and You Tube for template and measurement on how to cut and score the fold lines.

I used several different stamps on this card.  The Tulips and Magnolia stamp sets are from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  The butterflies on the side panels were also from Sparkle N Sprinkle Brocade Background.

The glitter used on this project are DaisySparkling SnowOrange SurpriseBubblegum and Green Iris all from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

This really is a beautiful way to present a card.  It folds flat and fits into a A2 envelope.

All of the images were colored with copic markers.  A couple of the flowers were embossed with Indian Spark.

This is a look at the back panel, perfect for your sentiment and message.

It really made me feel good that she had so much joy when she open this pretty flower card.

If you have not tried this card technique please do it is so much fun to make and really is so pretty when you receive it.

Thanks so much for stopping by have a wonderful week and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

Sparkle N Sprinkle's March 1 Reveal

Welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle's March 1 Reveal.

Hope you all have been able to stay warm this month!!!  This has really been a cold winter, but it has given time for indoor paper crafting.  I would like to say hello to my newest follower Mary H, thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you all are ready for some fun, it is time to reveal Sparkle and Sprinkle's newest stamp sets with lots of chances to win great prizes.

This month we are featuring five versatile stamp sets.
Two of the sets are perfect for Christmas.
Many of our customers said they promise themselves to make Christmas cards a little bit each month, all year long, but they fail to find the time. So this month's technique kit uses the pretty Red Cardinal drawn by Rosiland Solomon.

The Winter Cardinal stamp set is available by itself on line.
It is also included in Jazzy Jill's Technique Video for the month.

The FIRST also means a new challenge at SNS Creative Challenges where the monthly theme is always
"Anything Goes with Loose Glitter, Embossing Powder and/or Flocking."

Born to Shop #554

Winter Cardinal #518
Crystal Medallion #531

Iris Frame #532

Springtime Spunky #537
The Winter Cardinal and Crystal Medallion will also be available as digital images, you can find them Here.

Five Winners (one for each new stamp set) will be selected by Random.org during the Designers Mystery Party. Winners will also get to choose one Glitter and one Embossing Powder to go with their new stamp set.

How the Mystery Party works:

The winners will be announced on March 3 on Facebook, the SNS blog, and on our blogs:

April Williams
Anne Temple
Anita Scroggins
Donna Ellis

Each of the five stamp sets are available at 20% off.
Promotion valid through March 3.
You may also phone the SNS Shoppe to place your orders.

Don't you just love all the new stamps!!  I really loved the Frame Iris and thought how pretty it would look using the SNS Tutorial for stained glass.

This really turned out so pretty, I hope you can see all the beautiful "SPARKLE" on this card!!
I used Tim Holtz's Tattered Flower dies for the flowers and Sizzix Flourish Die.  The flowers were glittered using Pixie Violet (this is the most beautiful color), Green Iris and Daisy glitter.  Once the glue had dry on the acetate, I then covered the entire image with 2 1/2 Tear-ific Tape.  Remove the backing and cover with Cloud Nine glitter.  Use copic markers to highlight the areas around the flowers. See SNS Tutorial for coloring on glitter.

Here is a look at my 2nd card using this same stamp.

This card was made using SNS Coloring on Glitter tutorial. You will need copic markers, 2 1/2 Tear-ific Tape and Cloud Nine for this technique.  I placed 1/4" Tear-ific Tape on the edge of the yellow cardstock and glittered using Daisy glitter.
If you would like more details on using copic markers on glitter you can find it HERE!

These are 2 different techniques with such different looks!

I am going to give you a sneak peek of projects to come using all of the new stamp sets.  Be sure to check back to see the reveal.

If you would like more details on how to make these cards please visit my Sparkle N Sprinkle Gallery.

Good Luck to you all, be sure to visit all of the talented designer's blogs for a chance to winner so wonderful products!!!

Surf's Up!!

Good morning everyone, I would like to share a beach layout with you today.  Hope you all have managed to stay warm during this long cold winter.  This layout just made me look forward to all the summer fun, I can't wait!!  Here is a look at my layout.

This was our summer trip to Oceanside, CA and the boys first time on the bogie boards.  They had so much fun!!

I used a stencil and embossing paste for the flowers, while the paste was wet I dusted lightly with Sparkling Snow glitter.
The stamp set used for this layout is Surf's Up

The surf boards were colored using copic markers and glittered with
Sparkling Snow, Lady Luck and Pixie Violet.  At the bottom of the surf boards, I used Surf Beach Glass Mudd Puddles.

Valentine's Day Cards!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone, have a wonderful day with the ones you love!!

The grand babies all needed cards for there school parties, so Spunky  made his way to school today!!  He is so cute and they just loved him, so he was the perfect choice.

These went with my 3 year twins to preschool.

This one is for my older 2 grandson!  You can find a Tutorial here on how to make a card like this.

I think Spunky enjoyed his day at school!!

For my last Valentine's cards, I made Tea Bag Cards!!  They are so cute and so easy to make.

The stamps used on these were from Sparkle N Sprinkle Heart Wings and Background Brocade.

The background paper was made using the Background Brocade stamp set along with versamark and Tinsel EP.  The hearts were die cut and glittered using Gypsy Red and Reflection.  The sentiment was computer generated. You can fill these with gift cards, candy or tea for a perfect little card!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day and remember....Keep Stamping

Double Heart Easel Card

I have been busy finishing up my Valentine's cards for this year, almost forget about them!  This month is just flying by.  Hope you all are having a wonderful week so far and staying warm!!

This really turned out so pretty!!

I used Spellbinder's Scalloped and Plain Heart Dies.  You can find a tutorial on how to create this card at SplitcoaststampersI used all Sparkle N Sprinkle products on this card.  For the card base I used the largest and 3rd largest scalloped hearts.  They were stamped with the Brocade Background stamp set and embossed with White Spark and Tinsel embossing powder. Several other size hearts were die cut and embossed using the same powders.

Using the Heart Wings stamp set, I stamped the February 14 image onto black cardstock using versamark and embossed with Tinsel embossing powder.  The stamped image was punched with a circle punch.

February Birthdays!!

It has been a busy card making month already!  The first week and I have had to make 3 birthday cards already!!  Here is a look at card I have made for our son, it will be his 33rd birthday.  Can't believe it, he is our baby.  I will be entering this card in Jo's Scrap Shack's  #36 Anything Goes Challenge.

I had these stamps in my stash and decided to use them.  The image was colored using copic markers, die cut a frame and placed the image behind and the chair on top.  I embossed the bottom area with versamark and Hit The Beach EP and added Mudd Puddles . Using a glue pen and Waterfall, Sparkling Snow and Green Iris to add sparkle to the image.

My second card was a flying easel card.  You can find a great tutorial on Karen Burniston's blog.  the background paper was embossed with Brocade Backgrounds stamp and Indian Spark EP.

The scalloped border was die cut from sticker paper and glittered using Daisy glitter.  The butterflies are a die cut from Stampin Up.  They really make you feel like warm weather and spring on the horizon ;)
