I hope you are enjoying the new releases this month, I really loved the new stamp sets this month!!  For my project I choose to use the Honey Bee's digi set. Using several of the stamps I arranged them onto the card stock and printed.  I did not resize the set just printed off the color version and fussy cut out the beehive.

I created my card background on a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of white cardstock.  I placed the honeycomb die across the cardstock and cut.  I then cut a second honeycomb out of  white cardstock to be used later.  The background panel was layered onto a piece of yellow cardstock placing a strip of 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape  under the cut out honeycomb. The protective backing was removed and the honeycomb die was placed on top of the tape.  The openings were then covered with Sunny Daze glitter.

I placed a strip of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape along the edges of the yellow cardstock and  glitter using Sunny Daze glitter.  Sparkle was added to the beehive using a glue pen, Sparkling Snow and Spirited Green glitter.

Using the 2nd set of honeycomb I cut them apart and placed along the top edges. I used the cut out from the honeycomb for a little embellishments.  They were glittered using brushable glue and Sunny Daze.  They were placed on top of the card base using glue and pop dots.  Small pearls were added and glitter on the cute little bees was added using a glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have fun on the blog hop your next stop is ANNE!

A Chirpy Hello

Good morning everyone, hope you have had a wonderful week! Today I would like to share a card using the Secret Garden stamp set and the digi, along with Nesting Bird stamp set. To start my card I printed and cut the the re sized bird for the focal point of my card.  This was done using my Silhouette.   A second bird was stamped using the rubber stamp.  Both images were colored using copic markers.   Sparkle was added using a glue pen, Sunny Daze and Sparkle Snow glitter..  The background was embossed using a Anna Griffin embossing folder.  The leaves were die cut using the Branches and Leaves Sizzix die.  Small flowers were punched using a Fisher punch edges inked and a small pearl placed in the center.

The sentiment was stamped and punched out using a 1″ circle punch.

The bird cage was die cut using Tim Holtz’s Caged Bird die.  Chipboard was used for the cage, and it was distressed using Dreamweaver’s Crackle Embossing Paste.  Once the paste was dry it was inked using Memento Espresso Truffle.

Small pearls were added to the bottom of the cage.

Using Anna Griffin’s corner dies, the Kiss Cut Technique, Sticker PaperPistachio and Shell Pink glitter the sparkly corners were created.  This is a really fun and pretty technique.

Faux Fresco Techinque

Good morning all, posting today from the beautiful state of Arizona!!  Today I would like to share a card using the newly released Secret Garden stamp from SparkleNSprinkle and the Faux Fresco techinque from Splitcoaststampers.  This was a really fun techinque and I was so pleased with the end results.  HERE you will find a tutorial on how to create this look.  I used a new embossing folder from Anna Griffin, Inktense Pencils, white acrylic paint, Sparkle EP (instead of clear) this added the pretty sparkle to the background.  The edges were inked.

Here is a closer look at the background!

The bracket was cut using my Silhouette and the key image was stamped with Stazon ink and colored with watercolors.  Using a glue pen, Sparkling Snow and Evening Glow glitter a touch of sparkle was added.  A strip of glitter ribbon was run through the label and adhered to the back of the background panel.

A small silver Pull Ribbon was added to the label and a small flower was punched using a Fisker Punch.

Hope you will give this technique a try it is really pretty and fun to create!!!  Thanks so much for stopping by, have a blessed day and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

Embrace Every Season

Good morning, everyone hope you all are having a wonderful day.  Today I would like to share a card with you using the newly released Secret Garden stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle

To start my card I used Spellbinder's Majestic Labels dies.  The pink cardstock was die cut and a piece of sticker paper was placed on the backside.  Pistachio glitter was used on the open areas. Using a glue pen I ran a small line around the pink layer and glittered with Pistachio glitter.

The sweet little girl was stamped onto watercolor paper and die cut using the same die set.  The image was then colored with Inktense Pencils.  Using a glue pen sparkle was added using, Waterfall, Evening Glow and Spirited Green glitter.  A small flower was punched, and small rhinestone was added to the center and placed on the hat of the girl.

The sentiment was stamped using a stamp from the Daisies stamp set with versamark and embossed with Black Detail EP.  It was punched with a circle punch.  To complete the card I used the Mint/Gold Mon Ami Gabby Pull Ribbon.  A small pearl was added to the center.
