Daisies Tag

Good morning everyone, I hope your 4th was great!!  We had a fun day at the waterpark, a little rain put a damper our fireworks!  All in all a wonderful day spent with family!!

I gave you a sneak peek of a project to come last week and would like to share that with you today.

This stamp set was just released from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  It is a really pretty stamp set, be sure to visit the Online Store for all of the new releases for the month of July.  I started this tag with a piece of tan cardstock.  Stamp the tan cardstock with the  Crackle Background stamp and white ink.

I then cut a piece of white cardstock a 1/4" smaller than the tan cardstock and started creating the background for my tag.

The background was create with different stencils, ink, gesso, Journal Mixed Media stamp.  The sentiment was stamped with black ink

The image was then stamped and color with copic markers, I stamped a 2nd image and color only the middle flower, fussy cut and adhere to image with pop dots.

Using Tim Holtz's Honeycomb die, for the honeycomb.  They were inked with versamark and embossed using Cooper Flame embossing powder.  Once the die cut was cool, I applied gesso with a brush lightly to create a distressed look.

Using the Silhouette the large butterfly was cut.  Using a brushable glue and a brush, I applied glue to the outer edges of the wings and glittered using Purple Dust.

Next repeat the same procedure,  Spirited Green glitter was applied next.

Next came the Waterfall glitter.

I brushed a small amount of glue to the center of the butterfly and added Celestial glitter.

This turned out so pretty!!  The rest of the butterflies were die cut and placed on the tag.

I hope you have enjoyed my project, if you would like complete details on this project please see my SNS Gallery!

Thanks again for stopping by and remember....Keep Stamping!!

I just love all the new stamp sets!!  My little grand daughter thought the penguin in Under the Mistletoe was so cute so I knew I had to make something with it.  I decided on a tag and a card.  For the tag I made a snow globe.  The globe was embossed with Cuttlebug's Swiss Dot folder.  I also stamped the globe with the Snow One Like Me snowflakes and embossed with Tinsel EP.

I used the SNS Tutorial Coloring on Glitter on the penguin, he then was fussy cut out and place on the snow globe.  The edges of the snow globe were inked with blue ink and glittered using a brush, Brushable Glue and Sparkling Snow glitter.  The snowflakes were cut using Season of Joy Cricut Cartridge.  They were glittered using brushable glue, Sparkling Snow, Waterfall and Fascination glitter.

For the card I used the Tutorial for Dry Embossing Flocking Technique for the background.

I used Cuttlebug's Snowflake embossing folder, and Twinkling Clouds, for the background.  This really turns out so pretty.  For the sparkle around the edge of the card, I used 1/8" Tear-ific Tape remove the backing on the tape and apply Silver Dream Glitter.

 Another look at the background.

For the image I stamped it with black ink and colored using copic markers.  On the white areas of the body and hat Dimensional Glue  and Twinkling Clouds were used for the "Sparkle".  I applied Liquid Glass to the ice cube and dusted lightly with Sparkling Snow glitter.

Here a little sneak peek of a project to come using the Daisies Stamp Set.

Please stop back by to see the entire project!!

Good luck to you all the stamp sets are all beautiful!!!  Please be sure to visit all of the talented and amazing Designers, they all have some beautiful project to share with you.

Birthday Card

Good afternoon everyone, hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day!  We are a military family our son served for many years so this holiday has a special meaning for our family as it does for so many families!! This is a picture of my son while on duty in AF, we are so proud of him and his service to our country!!

Today I would like to share a birthday card with you that I made for my daughter's 36th birthday.  Wow can't believe how time has flown!!  I can remember bring her home for the hospital seems like only yesterday.  I used the Elizabeth Craft Design stickers for this card.

These stickers as just so pretty and so easy to use.  You can find her video online on how to use them HERE.  It is super easy.  I used shimmer sheets and different embossing folders to create the background.  These shimmer sheet are so pretty and really make a beautiful background for your card.

The coloring on the fan is done using copic markers.  You just color right on top of the glitter with the makers.  The picture does not show all the beautiful sparkle, but it is so sparkly.

If you have not try these stickers, you really should!!  They are just so pretty.  Hope you enjoy my card, my daughter just loved it.

Thanks for stopping by and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

I have just had so much fun with the new stamps, and hope you will too!!

The Flamingo Bay stamp set is just perfect for those summer projects.  I choose to make a easel card, this way I could enjoy it all summer long.  I used the new Crackle Background stamp with White EP, don't you just love the look!!

The image was stamped twice, and color with copic makers.  Die cut the image with Spellbinder's Circle die and  die cut a Fancy Circle for a pretty frame around the image.  With the second image I only cut out the small 2 flamingos, the larger lily pad and the butterflies.  Place cut out images on top of the frame using pop dots, place the butterflies randomly on the card.  I used liquid glass on the water and Twinkling Clouds on the cloud, this really gave the clouds a pretty "Sparkle".

Left side of the card, BubblegumSparkling Snow and Green Iris glitters was used for the beautiful sparkle on the images!!

Right side of the card, around the sun I placed Evening Glow glitter.  For the frame I used Brushable Glue and Sparkling Snow for the pretty sparkle around my image.

On the lily pads Sparkling Snow was used for the sparkle!!

For the strip on the bottom of the card I stamped the image with versamark and embossed using White Spark EP.

A look at the card from the side.

Here is a sneak peek of a layout to come using the Diamond Stamp Set!

Our Soccer Players

Good morning to you all!!  I would like to share a soccer layout with you today, that I gave you a sneak peek of!  I used the  Digital Soccer Stamp Set from Sparkle N Sprinkle for this layout.  I like using the digital version of stamp as you can adjust the size of the stamp to fit your layout.  Here is a look at my layout!

To create the background paper I used bubble wrap, gesso, and a chevron stencil.  I stamped the white cardstock with green paint using the bubble wrap as a stamp.  I stamp randomly around the page and let the paint dry.  Once the paint was dry I laid the stencil on top of the page and covered the stencil using gesso. Remove the stencil and while the gesso is still wet I lightly dusted with Sparkling Snow glitter.  This really made a pretty background.

I printed the images from the digital set colored with copic markers and fussy cut them out.  For the soccer player, shirt and socks I glittered using a glue pen and Lady Luck glitter.  Two of the soccer balls were glittered with a glue pen and Sparkling Snow and one with Lady Luck glitter.  The net was fussy cut and glittered with Reflection Velvet glitter using a glue pen.  The images were adhere to the page.  I took a piece of black cardstock and a piece of DP and torn the edges to create a distressed look and adhere the two to the bottom of the page.

I layered DP onto the background paper and added banners, using images from the stamp set along the sides of the pictures.

A tag was added for journaling.

Have a wonderful day and remember....Keep Stamping!

Flowers Feed The Soul

Hi everyone, it has been awhile since I have posted!!  Things have been really busy here.  I would like to share a card that I made for my daughter's mother in law for her birthday.  I used the Geraniums stamp set from SNS.  This is a really pretty stamp with many ways to use it.

To create the background paper I stamped the silhouette stamp with versamark randomly and embossed with White Spark.  It really made for a pretty background.

I stamped the image with black ink onto watercolor paper.  I then took the silhouette stamp and colored with  copic marker RV06 on the flowers and G14 on the stems directly onto the rubber stamp.  I then spritz the stamp with alcohol and stamped on top of the first image.  This give a look of watercolors using copic markers.  The alcohol works like water on watercolors.  It really turned out pretty.  Using a glue pen I glittered the flowers with Bubblegum glitter and the centers with Daisy glitter.  I cut the image using Spellbinder's Floral Ovals.

I stamped white card stock with the small flourish from Flourish Two with pink ink.  The sentiment was stamped and punched out with an oval punch.

The card turned out so pretty, and she loved it!!
