Wonder which Designer contains the Grand Prize this month?

Don't you just love all these new Releases!!  I have been having so much fun with them.  I just loved the Pilgrim Thanksgiving stamp set.  I knew I could do a cute side step card with it, so off I went creating.

The images were all colored using copic markers.  I decided to separate the little guys and used them standing alone.  I create my background paper with my gelli plate using green, blue and orange paints.  It really turned out so pretty!! I added Bronze Splendor glitter along the edges of the background paper.

These images are so cute, and so sparkly with all that pretty glitter!!  The glitters used on them are, Sparkling SnowFire Engine RedSpirited Green and Daisy.

I stamped the sentiment and used a glue pen and Autumn Medley glitter around the edges of the cardstock.  I stamped a second image and cut out the heart and glittered it using a glue pen and Fire Engine Red glitter.  It was then placed on top of the first image with a pop dot.

For these beautiful leaves, I collected them from my yard.  I inked them with versamark and embossed them with Green Marbled Christmas  and Sienna Star EP.  There is a wonderful tutorial HERE with more details on embossing on leaves.  These turned out so pretty, I was just so happy with how they looked!  The little tag was stamped and along the edges glittered using a glue pen and Autumn Medley glitter.

I hope you have enjoyed my cute little card!!!  I had so much fun making it and just love how cute Side Step Cards are.  If you would like more details on how to make my card please visit my GALLERY.

I would like to share a sneak peek of a project to come using the new Sunflower stamp set.

Please stop back by for the complete project!!

Grandmother a wonderful Mother

Good morning all, hope you are having a wonderful day!!  I have been enjoying a few days with my grand daughter and having so much fun.  Last month Sparkle N Sprinkle released several new stamp sets.  This morning I would like to share a card using one of the new sets.

This set Gran's Chair would be perfect for any grandmother, and it also has a sentiment for grandfather.  This really is a sweet set.  The image was colored using copic markers and die cut using Spellbinder Fancy Squares. Using brushable glue on the edges of the square I glittered with Sparkling Snow.  Sparkling Snow glitter was also used on the chair.

The pretty "sparkle" on the basket and flowers is WaterfallSpirited Green and Daisy glitters.  The cute little butterfly is also glittered with Daisy glitter.

The pretty corner frame is Anna Griffin's die.  Once the die was cut I used burshable glue and Daisy glitter to add some sparkle.  This really is a beautiful die, works perfect for cards and scrapbook pages.

For the embellshiments on the sentiment small dots of dimensonial glue was added and glittered with Purple Potion glitter.  HERE is a great tutorial on how to use the dimensional glue and glitter for pretty embellishments.  The edges of the card was cut using Karen Burniston's Agatha Edges.  I cut a second one and glittered with brushable glue and Daisy glitter.  The background paper was embossed with Anna Griffin's embossing folder.

Sweet Layout

Good morning all, hope your week is off to a great start!!!  We have been busy with Vacation Bible School this week and having so much fun!  It warms your heart to see so many smiling faces learning about our God!

I would like to share a sweet layout with you today starring my grandson!!

I just love how this turned out!!  The edges were distressed with scissor and inked with green pigment ink.  I applied the ink with a sponge and distressed the background as well.  The page was punched with a border punch in several places.

Using a brick stencil and embossing paste I created a brick wall.  To create the texture on the bricks, I used my finger and lightly dabbed each one.  Next the bricks were lightly inked using green ink and a sponge.  I cut around the bricks and inked the edges with brown ink.

Using an piece of cardboard from an old box, I inked it with green ink tore and rolled the edges.  I then took a brush and lightly brushed gesso on the cardboard in random spots. The brick wall was adhere to the cardboard.

Using the Leafy Flourish stamp set, I stamped the image with black ink and inked it lightly with green ink.  For the pretty sparkle I used a glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.  The flourish was fussy cut and adhere to the background paper.

The flourish was repeated to used on the bottom right corner. I stamped the  Crystal Medallion stamp with black ink and inked using a sponge and green ink.  The center was glittered using a glue pen and Sparkling Snow.  The image was fussy cut, a brad adhere to the center.  The flourish and medallion were adhere to the background page.

The honeycomb were die cut using Tim Holtz's dies.  Once they were die cut I inked them with versamark and embossed using Cooper Flame EP.

Once the embossing powder was cool they were cut in half and placed on the page.  I used several of the cut outs, inked them with Tangelo Ink and embossed them with Houndstooth embossing folder.

Using the Tutorial for Coloring on Glitter, the butterfly was created.  The butterfly image is from the Simply Beautiful stamp set.

The sentiments were stamped using Desert Sand ink.  The sentiments are from the Camera Life and the Crystal Medallion stamp sets.

Daisies Tag

Good morning everyone, I hope your 4th was great!!  We had a fun day at the waterpark, a little rain put a damper our fireworks!  All in all a wonderful day spent with family!!

I gave you a sneak peek of a project to come last week and would like to share that with you today.

This stamp set was just released from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  It is a really pretty stamp set, be sure to visit the Online Store for all of the new releases for the month of July.  I started this tag with a piece of tan cardstock.  Stamp the tan cardstock with the  Crackle Background stamp and white ink.

I then cut a piece of white cardstock a 1/4" smaller than the tan cardstock and started creating the background for my tag.

The background was create with different stencils, ink, gesso, Journal Mixed Media stamp.  The sentiment was stamped with black ink

The image was then stamped and color with copic markers, I stamped a 2nd image and color only the middle flower, fussy cut and adhere to image with pop dots.

Using Tim Holtz's Honeycomb die, for the honeycomb.  They were inked with versamark and embossed using Cooper Flame embossing powder.  Once the die cut was cool, I applied gesso with a brush lightly to create a distressed look.

Using the Silhouette the large butterfly was cut.  Using a brushable glue and a brush, I applied glue to the outer edges of the wings and glittered using Purple Dust.

Next repeat the same procedure,  Spirited Green glitter was applied next.

Next came the Waterfall glitter.

I brushed a small amount of glue to the center of the butterfly and added Celestial glitter.

This turned out so pretty!!  The rest of the butterflies were die cut and placed on the tag.

I hope you have enjoyed my project, if you would like complete details on this project please see my SNS Gallery!

Thanks again for stopping by and remember....Keep Stamping!!

All the images were stamped with black ink and colored using copic markers.  The pretty sparkle you see on the boards and fence are Spirited GreenFire Engine RedBronze SplendorWaterfall and Green Iris.  The images were fussy cut out and adhere to the background.  On one of the boards and the fence I used pop dots to adhere to card.  I place Shells mudd puddles around the fence.

The old woody was colored using copic markers and fussy cut out.  I used Fire Engine Red glitter on the body of the card.  For the bumpers and hub caps Silver Dreams was used.  For the windows I applied liquid glass to them.

Finally for the hammock and a nap, copic markers were used to color the image.  It was fussy cut out and glittered using Spirited Green, Fire Engine Red, Waterfall and Bronze Splendor glitter.  Around the bottom of the palm trees, I added Sea Glass Mudd Puddles.
