Sparkle N Sprinkle's April 1st Reveal

Welcome to Sparkle N Sprinkle's
April 1 New Reveal Blog Hop!

This month the Designers were asked to create projects with Want 2 Scrap chipboard products.  If you are able to visit any of the shows that SNS is participating in this year, you will notice SNS now has a larger booth.  Margaret and crew are sharing this new, larger space with Want 2 Scrap.

We wanted to showcase various projects using both SNS products and W2S products together.  Hopefully, you'll see some new uses of these products that you may not have thought of before.  Chipboard can be used for more than scrapbook layouts or mini albums :-).  So sit back, enjoy the Hop and get ready to have those creative juices flowing!

Be sure to visit the SNS Blog all month long for more projects and ideas that incorporate your favorite glitters, embossing powders, and more with the Want 2 Scrap chipboard.

On April 3rd, ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER will be selected from the comments left on the Designers' blogs listed below. Please leave a comment with each Designer in order to be eligible for the Grand Prize.  You never know who the Mystery Designer will be that has the winning comment.

The Grand Prize Winner, which will be announced on the SNS Facebook page and on the SNS Blog on April 4, will receive a $20 gift certificate to go shopping at the SNS Shoppe.

Hi everyone hope you are enjoying the blog hop, there are a lot of wonderful project this month!!

To start my project I embossed Want2Scrap Doily Chipboard using the clear embossing ink along with Super Thick White EP.  This was then heat set.

While the embossing powder was still hot I covered the doily with Exhilarated Glitter and heat set again.

I lightly applied Golden Sparkle EP at random while the glitter was still hot and heat set again. The step was repeated with Magic Speckle EP.  I really loved the end results.

The flourish chipboard was embossed using the same steps as the doily.

Using sticker paper along with Dreamweaver's Butterfly stencil, Coconut SoapSpirited Green, Ocean and Golden Silver glitter to create this sparkly butterfly.

Once all the chipboard had been prepared it was time to assemble my page.  The page base corners were punched using a Fisker corner punch.  Next the black cardstock was cut using my Silhouette.  The plaid DP was cut to 9 x 9.  Two strips of DP were cut for the banners.  The pieces were layered onto the page base.

The chipboard doily was adhered to the page, Want2Scrap pearls were added to the edge along with some Vellum Flowers.

I added sparkle to the vellum flowers using a glue pen and Green Nugget glitter.  The small butterflies were die cut using a Stampin' Up die.  Opal Liquid Pearl was added to the centers of the flowers.

A piece of 3/4" Tear-ific Tape along with Parisian Mist glitter was used to create the ribbon.  I placed a piece of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape on the layout and then pleating the glittered ribbon on top.  It made such a pretty pleated ribbon on the page.  The sentiment is a Anna Griffin minc sentiment that I choose not to foil.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have fun on the hop!!

Christmas Layout

Happy Thursday everyone, I finally finished a Christmas layout for this year using the Graphic 45 Christmas Carol paper.

I used the Wink of Stella Clear pen to add the shimmer to the paper flowers.

Want 2 Scrap chipboard was used and embossed with Gold EP from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  The sentiment was left over from my Christmas cards.

Happy Birthday

Hope you all are having a wonderful day, quite dreary here in Houston!!  Today I would like to share a birthday card I made for my son-in-law.  I used a stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle Surf's Up #455.

I wanted to used more than one stamp on this card so I used the masking technique to create my card.

Stamping the 1st image onto cardstock.

The image was stamped a 2nd time and cut out.

Using washi tape to hold the 2nd image on top of the 1st image.  The surf board stamp was then stamped on top of the bus image.

I really loved how this turned out, the stamping came out perfect.

The images were then colored using copic markers.  Glossy Accents were added to the windows and a little sparkle was added to the card using a glue pen, Sparkling Snow, Spirited Green and Ocean glitter.  The background was embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Gelatos were used on the stamped panel to create the sun and sky.

Thanks so much for stopping by if you have not tried the masking technique give it a try!!

You Are Sweeter Than Honey

Good morning everyone, hope you are having a great day!!  This morning I would like to share a cute card using a pretty fold and the new Honey Bee stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  This is one of my favorite stamp sets, it was just released!!

I started my background panel by stamping the honeycomb with versamark and embossing it using Rosa EP.  The cute little bees were stamped and colored using copic markers.  Using a glue pen on the bees a bit of sparkle was added with Sparkling Snow glitter.

The sentiment was stamped with versamark, embossed using Raspberry Tart EP and punched with a  1 1/2" circle punch. Using sticker paper a scallop was punched and glittered using Sea Spray Glitter.

Using DP and this tutorial for the pleated panel, the bottom half of the background was created.  I placed a small piece of 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape on the bottom right corner of the card to give a little sparkle to the pleat.  The backing was removed and Sea Spray glitter was added before the panel was adhere to the card.  A strip of 3/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed in the middle of the card and glittered using the same glitter.  The sentiment was adhered using a pop dot.

Hope you have enjoyed my card, and thanks so much for stopping by!!  Have a wonderful day and remember...Keep Stamping!!

Get Well Wishes

Good morning everyone, I took a little time this week to create a Get Well card and would like to share it with you!

I started the card by embossing a piece of white CS with a Stampin Up folder cutting around the right edge and lightly inking the raised area with pink ink.

Next I placed a piece of super adhesive sheet on top of white CS removed the backing and cover the sticky area with Cloud Nine glitter.  I stamped the large rose using My Rose Garden stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle on top of the glitter.  The rose was then colored using copic makers.  You can find a tutorial HERE on how to color and stamp on glitter. Mon Ami Gabby Green Pull Ribbon was added behind the rose.

The sentiment was stamped with versamark and embossed using Black Detail EP.

Thanks Easel Card

Good morning, hope your day is off to a wonderful start.  I would like to share a project using Donna's Stylin Sayings digi stamps set.

Thanks

To create my easel card I used Spellbinder's Majestic Labels Twenty Five.  The first panel was die from white cardstock and super adhesive sheets.  Once die cut the backing was removed and the opening were glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  The next layer was die cut using green cardstock and placed on top of a piece of sticker paper and the openings glittered using Sparkling Snow.

Thanks

The thanks sentiment was printed and die cut.  The 3 layers adhere to the card base using pop dots.  Vellum flowers and leaves were placed using pop dots.  A small Mon Ami Gabby Silver Pull Ribbon was added behind the flowers.

Thanks

For the inside of the card the smaller  2 oval was die cut and the steps were repeated using sticker paper and glitter.  The ovals were then layered together using pop dots.  Small vellum flowers and a bow were added.

Thanks

A look at the card closed.

Luck of the Irish

Good morning all, the weekend is here!!  As St. Patrick Day is fast approaching, I thought I would share a card using the new just released Lucky Charm (digi) stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

To start my card I layered the blue and green pieces together for a A2 size card.  Next I embossed the white panel using an Anne Griffin embossing folder.  For the frame I used my Silhouette to cut using sticker paper, removed the backing and glittered using Ocean glitter.  It was adhered to the card base using pop dots.

The image was printed using the digi stamp and it was slightly enlarged. That is the fun of using digi stamp you can size them to fit your project.  The image was colored using copic markers.  Once the coloring was complete the horseshoe was fussy cut out and sparkle added using a glue pen, Spirited Green and Fairy Tale Lavender glitters.

The sentiment was stamped using the rubber stamp set and fussy cut around and adhere to the card using pop dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by, please visit Sparkle N Sprinkle to see all the beautiful new stamp sets just released!!
