Hope your week is off to a great start!!  Today I would like to share a couple of cards with you that I made for my little sister's birthday and a baptism card for a sweet little girl in my Sunday School class.

Anna Griffin embossing folder was used for the background panel.  Next the pleat was created using this tutorial.  I placed a piece of Tear-ific Tape under the pleat and glittered using Sunny Daze glitter.  A piece of 1/2" Tear-ific Tape was placed along the top of the pleated layer and glittered with Sunny Daze glitter.

Close up view of the flowers. The centers of the flowers are Green Apple and Bubblegum Blush Crystal Drops.

3 small dots of Bubblegum Blush Crystal Drops was added for embellishments.

For the baptism card I used a Anna Griffin embossing folder, inked the raised areas.  The cross was cut using my Silhouette.

Happy Birthday

Hope you all are having a wonderful day, quite dreary here in Houston!!  Today I would like to share a birthday card I made for my son-in-law.  I used a stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle Surf's Up #455.

I wanted to used more than one stamp on this card so I used the masking technique to create my card.

Stamping the 1st image onto cardstock.

The image was stamped a 2nd time and cut out.

Using washi tape to hold the 2nd image on top of the 1st image.  The surf board stamp was then stamped on top of the bus image.

I really loved how this turned out, the stamping came out perfect.

The images were then colored using copic markers.  Glossy Accents were added to the windows and a little sparkle was added to the card using a glue pen, Sparkling Snow, Spirited Green and Ocean glitter.  The background was embossed with a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.

Gelatos were used on the stamped panel to create the sun and sky.

Thanks so much for stopping by if you have not tried the masking technique give it a try!!

Have a wonderful day and remember.....Keep Stamping!!

I hope you are enjoying the new releases this month, I really loved the new stamp sets this month!!  For my project I choose to use the Honey Bee's digi set. Using several of the stamps I arranged them onto the card stock and printed.  I did not resize the set just printed off the color version and fussy cut out the beehive.

I created my card background on a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece of white cardstock.  I placed the honeycomb die across the cardstock and cut.  I then cut a second honeycomb out of  white cardstock to be used later.  The background panel was layered onto a piece of yellow cardstock placing a strip of 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape  under the cut out honeycomb. The protective backing was removed and the honeycomb die was placed on top of the tape.  The openings were then covered with Sunny Daze glitter.

I placed a strip of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape along the edges of the yellow cardstock and  glitter using Sunny Daze glitter.  Sparkle was added to the beehive using a glue pen, Sparkling Snow and Spirited Green glitter.

Using the 2nd set of honeycomb I cut them apart and placed along the top edges. I used the cut out from the honeycomb for a little embellishments.  They were glittered using brushable glue and Sunny Daze.  They were placed on top of the card base using glue and pop dots.  Small pearls were added and glitter on the cute little bees was added using a glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

Birthday Queen

Good morning everyone I would like to share an easel card with you this morning. It was  made for a sweet little girl in my Sunday School class, using the newly released digi Birthday Queen stamp set.  She is so cute and perfect for a little girl's birthday!

Sweet Birthday

I choose to re sized the stamp to fit my Spellbinder's Fancy Ovals dies.  That is the fun of digi, you can make them any size to fit your project.  Once the image was printed and die cut I colored using copic markers. This is a look at the card closed.

Sweet Birthday

The flowers were die cut using Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Die.  Using a glue pen a little sparkle was added using Sparkling Snow glitter to the sweet Queen and flowers.  The sentiment was stamped with black ink and placed on top of the flowers using pop dots.

Sweet Birthday

The inside of the card.  The hearts were also re sized and printed out.  They were colored with copic markers and fussy cut out.  By placing them on pop dots it keeps the card standing.

Sweet Birthday

A small amount of sparkle was added to the hearts using a glue pen and Sparkling Snow
glitter.

Sweet Birthday

Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful day and remember Keep Stamping!

Don't you just love all the new stamp sets!!  I really enjoyed working with the digi of Woofie's Birthday for my project this month.  I don't use the digi to often but this was really fun changing the direction and size of parts of the stamp. The card base is a center step design.  HERE is a tutorial on how to cut and score this design.  To create my background paper I used the Wrinkle Free Distress technique that I came across this week on Splitcoaststampers.  Four different colors of Tim Holtz's Distress Inks were used, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Peacock Feathers.  This is a must try technique the results are just beautiful!!

The image was enlarged and printed out.  I repeated the printing this time flipping it around. I colored using copic markers.  The images were then inked using versamark and embossed with Sparkle EP.

Once the embossed was cool, I added glitter to some of the image using a glue pen, Orange Surprise, Ocean, Bubblegum, Daisy and Spirited Green glitter.
The banner was made using 3D Foam Pennants that have adhesive on both sides. I used pieces of left over background paper that was placed on one side and cut around.  Each piece was placed on top of blue twine, small pearls were added to finish them off.

This image was enlarged and flip around.  Since the lettering did not flip, I printed a second one and cut out the balloon and placed on top using pop dots.  The ball and collar were glittered using a glue pen along with Spirited Green and Ocean glitter.

For this little dog his ball and collar were glittered using a glue pen with Bubblegum and Ocean glitter.

One finally little dog was added to the bottom panel.

Digital stamps are so much fun you can change the look by just changing the size, flip the direction, cropping part of them out.  If you have not use them, you must try!!

Here are a couple of sneak peeks of projects to come using Splish Splash stamps.

We hope you enjoy the New Reveal Blog Hop as much as we do.  Thanks for joining us and remember to comment on each of the Designers' blogs to be eligible for the Grand Prize.
