Bloom

Happy Wednesday everyone!!  Hope you are having a fun day, I would like to share a fun shadow box card with you today using the new Happy Flowers stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  The digi papers from this set were also used to create the card.  Let me show you have this all came together!!

First I printed off the designer paper from the digi bundle onto a 8.25" x 11" piece of cardstock.  The paper was then cut twice to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and each end was scored at 1/2" and 1".  The ends were then valley folded to create the card.  The front piece was die cut using the Tonic Eastern Oyster dies. Here is a tutorial on how to create this shadow box card.

The sweet flowers were stamped with Desert Sand Memento ink and colored using Tombox markers.  Sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen along with Sparkling Snow and Spirited Green glitter.  The grass was die cut using Elizabeth Craft Outdoor Edges die from left over paper that had been covered with Peridot Green Glimmer Paste.

The sentiment was stamped using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and glittered with Waterfall glitter using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen right over top of the ink.  Small drops of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops were added under the sentiment.  The sentiment was die cut using the Tonic Eastern Oyster Dies.

The butterflies were made using a piece of cardstock that had been covered with a piece of 2 1/2 Tear-ific Tape.  The backing was removed and the cardstock was covered with Cloud Nine glitter.  The butterflies were stamped using StazOn ink using the Corner Garden stamp set. Once the ink is dry the butterflies were colored using Tombow markers.  Fussy cut out the butterflies and placed them on the card.

Hope you have enjoyed my project.  This is a really fun card to make and so pretty when finished!

Every Flower

Good morning all hope you are having a wonderful day.  Today I will share with you a card using the new Corner Garden rubber and digi stamp set.  Come along as I show you how this all came together!

For the layers of my card I used 3 different colors of cardstock , on the white layer strips of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was used on the edges and Waterfall glitter.  This really gave my card base a pretty sparkle.

To start my card I printed the flower set using the color version.  It was then cut out using the Silhouette.  I did print and cut it a second time to layer on top of some of the flowers using foam dots.  Glitter was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Waterfall, BubblegumDaisy, Orchid, and Margarita.  Small Drops of White Crystal Drops were added to the swirls.

Next the sentiment was stamped using the rubber stamp set.  Waterfall glitter was added to the letters using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen.

The butterflies were stamped with StazOn ink onto a piece of cardstock that was covered with a strip of 2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape backing removed and glittered using Cloud Nine glitter.  The butterflies were then colored using the Tombow markers.  They were fussy cut out and placed on the card using foam dots.

Digi stamps are so much fun to play around with and can be used along with the rubber stamps on your project!!!

Don't Look Back

Good morning everyone, I would like to share my last project from Sparkle N Sprinkle's January Reveal.  Today I will be using the new Cattelya Friendship stamp set.  Let's get started on all the details!

To create the sparkly edges of the card base I placed strips of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape along the edges removed the backing and glittered using BurgundyGlitz and ParisianMist.  For the card background a lattice frame was die cut from the middle using a Anna Griffin die.  The background layer was placed on top of a piece of sticker paper which was glittered using Cloud Nine glitter.  The frame was then adhered to the opening using foam dots.

Next I stamped the pot using the Build a Flower stamp set and fussy cut out.

It was then covered with glue using the Nuvo Large Glue pen and let dry slightly.  Nuvo Gilding Cooper Flakes were placed on top and rubbed lightly.

Using a stiff brushes the excess flakes were brushed away.  I then re stamped the pot with StazOn black ink on top of the flakes.

Using a piece of Super Adhesive Sheet placed on top of white cardstock covered with Cloud Nine glitter the flowers were stamped with black ink.  The images was then colored using copic markers.  They were then fussy cut out and placed behind the flower pots.  A small pull ribbon bow was added to the pot along with a pearl.  Small drops of Orange Marmalade Jewel Drops were added to the flowers.  You can find a tutorial HERE on how to color on glitter.

Drops of Rhubarb Crumble Crystal Drops were added to the top right corner and left bottom corner.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink and die cut using Tonic's LayeringBasic Dies-Cockle Shell.

Thanks so much for stopping, hope you will stop back bye this evening to see Sparkle N Sprinkle's February Reveal, lots of beautiful stamps and amazing project!!

Get Well Wishes

Good morning everyone, I took a little time this week to create a Get Well card and would like to share it with you!

I started the card by embossing a piece of white CS with a Stampin Up folder cutting around the right edge and lightly inking the raised area with pink ink.

Next I placed a piece of super adhesive sheet on top of white CS removed the backing and cover the sticky area with Cloud Nine glitter.  I stamped the large rose using My Rose Garden stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle on top of the glitter.  The rose was then colored using copic makers.  You can find a tutorial HERE on how to color and stamp on glitter. Mon Ami Gabby Green Pull Ribbon was added behind the rose.

The sentiment was stamped with versamark and embossed using Black Detail EP.

Life Is Like A Sunflower!

Good morning everyone, hope your week has been great!!  I would like to share a layout with you today, that I gave you a sneak peek last week!!  Sparkle N Sprinkle released 6 new stamp set last week and this layout uses the new Sunflower set.

To create the background I used several different stencils with inks and embossing paste.  The Journal Mixed Media and Travel Mixed Media stamp set was also used on the background.

The Sunflowers were stamped with black ink and color with copic markers.  Using a glue pen I added Spirited GreenDaisy and Bronze Splendor glitter to the flowers and leaves.  They were fussy cut out and arranged on the page.  The brick wall was created using a stencil and embossing paste.  The sparkle you see is Sparkling Snow glitter.  I lightly dusted the embossing powder while it was still wet.

The background was stenciled with the Chevron stencil using orange and green ink.

For the butterflies I used the tutorial for Coloring on Glitter you can find the details HERE.  This is such a pretty technique. They were then fussy cut out.  I arrange them on the page and added doodles.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed my layout.  If you would like more details on this project please visit my SNS Gallery.

Enjoy your weekend and remember.....Keep Stamping!!
