True Beauty

Good morning all hope your Wednesday is off to a great start!!!  Today I will be sharing a card with you using the newly released and oh so beautiful True Beauty stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Let's get started!

First using the new Elizabeth Die from Crafter's Companion the black layer was die cut.  This created a beautiful top for my card.  Small drops of Purple Rain Glitter Drops were placed on the die.
Next I needed to create the background layers using Blue Topaz and Tanzanite Lavender Glimmer Paste.  Covering pieces of cardstock with the glimmer paste and a craft knife.  This will need to dry for serveral minutes.  Once dry the edges were torn and adhered to the card base.  This really created a pretty shimmer for my card background.

Next the beautiful peacock was stamped with versamark twice and embossed using Peacock EP.  One of the image was die cut using Spellbinders Oval die and colored with copic markers. Sparkle was added using the Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Waterfall glitter.  Drops of Purple Rain Glitter Drops were placed on both images.  The die cut images was placed on top of the 2nd image using foam dots.  Glue was added to the edges of the oval using the Nuvo Medium Glue Pen and glittered using Orchid glitter.  Drops of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops were placed around the oval.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut using the small oval die from Spellbinders.  The edges were glittered using the Medium Glue Pen and Orchid glitter.  The leaves were die cut using a Sizzix die and placed around the sentiment oval and larger oval.

Blessed

Good morning all, today I am going to share the layout that I promised yesterday!!  I will be using the same Corner Garden stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  The images were all enlarged to fix the layout.  It is so much fun using the digi stamps as they can be made as large or small as needed.  Lets' get started on all the details!

First the images were sized and printed out using the color set.  They were cut out using the Silhouette.  Using Anna Griffin's new  Border Dies to cut all the die cuts out.

The frame die is also from Anna Griffin.  Once the die was cut out I placed Pink Opal Glimmer Paste on top.  This really gave a pretty sparkle!

Here you can see how pretty the digi stamps are, they were enlarged quite a bit to fit the layout.  The larger flower was cut twice to add dimension. Sparkle was added to all of the flowers using the Small Nuvo Glue PenSpirited GreenWaterfall, Bubblegum and Sunny Daze glitter.   The butterfly was stamped using the rubber stamp set and the color on glitter technique. The strips of white cardstock were embossed using a Anna Griffin embossing folder and shimmer was added using Peony Pink, Aquamarine, Spring Green and Lemon Sorbet Mousse.

The digi butterfly was also enlarged using the color stamp.  Sparkle was added using the Small Nuvo Glue Pen, Bubblegum, Orchid, Lavender Iris and Sparkling Snow glitter.  Small drops of White Crystal Drops were added to the body of the butterfly.

This die cut is so beautiful, the backing was die cut twice once from sticker paper and once from a dark purple cardstock.  The scalloped piece was placed on top of the sticker paper and the sticky areas were covered using Sparkling Snow glitter.  They were layered together and placed behind the photo.

The bow and sentiment was also cut using Anna Griffin dies.  For the bow I covered a piece of pink cardstock with the Pink Opal Glimmer Paste for a pretty soft sparkle.

I hope you have enjoyed this layout!!!  Using the digi stamps on your layout is so much fun they can be sized to fit any space on your layouts or cards.  Please stop by the Sparkle N Sprinkle store to see all of the amazing products!!

The lattice piece was die cut using Spellbinder's Lattice die cut.

To start my background I used Emerald Green Glimmer Paste and covered my cardstock.  It needed to dry about 30 minutes.

Once dry I had a very sparkly background for my card.

The lattice frame was placed on top of the background paper using foam dots.  Next the wreath image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored using copic makers.

Sparkle was added to the wreath using Nuvo Small Glue Pen along with Sparkling Snow, Spirited Green and Pinkerbell glitter.  The wreath was fussy cut out and adhered to the background using foam dots.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Good morning everyone, the weekend is almost here and my oldest grandson will be here for a visit.  It's always fun when he visits!!!  Today I would like to share a St. Paddy's Day card with you using the new digi Edward the Elephant #1 stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

To start my project I needed to create the background.  I didn't have a clover stencil so I looked at my Silhouette files and found one cut it out and create my own stencil.  It was then placed and tape on top of my cardstock and covered with Emerald Green Glimmer Paste from Nuvo.

Use a palette knife and cover the stencil with the glimmer paste. Cover the entire stencil with the glimmer paste.  Once finished remove the stencil and allow to dry.

The end results is so beautiful and can be done with any stencil and paste.

Next I resized and printed out Edward using the color version of the stamp set.  This was cut out using my Silhouette.  Edward needed a bit of sparkle and that was added using the new Nuvo Small Glue Pen, Spirited Green, Sparkling Snow, Waterfall, and Evening Glow glitter. Small drops of Pale Gold Crystal Drops were added to the background and sentiment.

Glitter was added to the sentiment using the glue pen and Aztec Gold glitter.  A strip of 1/8" Tear-ific Tape was placed around the card base layer and glittered using the Aztec Gold glitter.

Hello

Good morning all, hope you are having a wonderful day!!  I would like to share a project with you using the new Build A Flower stamp set!!  I love, love, love this set!!

To start my project I needed to create the background panel.  Using a Prima stencil and Blue Topaz Glimmer Paste this was created.  I love how pretty and sparkly the paste looks when using it with a stencil.  A little sparkle was added around the background panel using Nuvo Small Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.  It really creates beautiful backgrounds for your project.  It is a must try!!   Once that was finished it was onto the pretty flowers.

The flowers were stamped with versamark onto vellum and embossed using White Spark EP.  They were fussy cut out and colored from the backside using copic markers.  The smaller flowers were stamped again, steps repeated and placed on top of the larger flowers using foam dots.  The leaves were stamped in the same way.
For the flower pot I used left over cardstock that has been covered with glue using the Large Nuvo Glue Pen and then covered with foil, distress using black ink.  An embossing folder was inked on the raised side with versamark the foiled cardstock was placed inside the embossing folder and run thourgh the Big Shot.  The embossed cardstock was then covered with Golden Sparkle EP and heat set.

I was very pleased with the vintage look.  The pot was then stamped with Stazon ink and fussy cut out.  Small drops of Dandelion Yellow Crystal Drops were placed on the flower centers.  The flowers and leaves were then arranged in the pot.  I placed dots of blue Tombow markers in the corners and put Morning Dew Crystal Drops on top.  I really love how the drops picked up the color from the markers.

The sentiment was die cut using a Anna Griffin die, which was inked with versamark and embossed with Indian Spark EP.  A second die cut was cut using black cardstock and placed slightly off center to create a shadow effect.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day and remember....Keep Stamping!!

Festive Lantern

Good morning all, I would like to share a festive card with you using the new Festive Lantern stamp set!!

Festive Lantern

To start my card I used the new glimmer paste to create background papers.  Using the Emerald Green on green cardstock, Moonstone on white cardstock and Garnet Red along with a stencil on white cardstock the layers for my card were created and allowed to dry overnight.  These glimmer paste are so beautiful and can be used in some many different ways.  I just love how beautiful they are using a stencil.

Festive Lantern

The poinsettia were stamped onto the cardstock (sorry I forgot to take a picture) and stamped a second time fussy cut out and used as a mask.  The lantern was then stamped on top of the poinsettia mask.
The lantern was colored using copic markers.  To create the look of glass on the lantern dimensional glue was added to the glass panes and allowed to dry.  Dimensional glue dries clear looking like glass. Evening GlowWaterfall, Golden Silver, Sassy Silver and Sparkling Snow glitter was used on the candle.

Festive Lantern

The poinsettia were colored using copic markers and Honey Gold Crystal Drops were applied to the centers.  To applied the Gliding Flakes to the edges of the panels I used the large Nuvo Glue Pen.  I placed 3 small dots on the top corner using a green maker and then placed drops of Morning Dew Crystal Drops on top.  Using a marker with the clear drops really make for pretty embellishments.

Festive Lantern

A stencil was placed on top of the white cardstock, and Garnet Red Glimmer Paste was applied using a palette knife.  I hope you can see all the beautiful shimmer of this paste, it is gorgeous.

Festive Lantern

Using the glimmer paste on the cardstock created beautiful shimmery paper and layers for my festive card.

I hope you have enjoyed my card as much as I did making it!!

Winter Blue Jay

Good morning all, hope you are having a great day!!!  Today I would like to share with you a card I made using the new Winter Blue Jay stamp set from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  It is a really beautiful set and would make pretty winter cards.

To start my card background I covered white cardstock with Moonstone Glimmer Paste and let dry.  Once dry I embossed it using the Stampin Up Woodland embossing folder.  Using a sponge dauber and some brown ink the birch trees were lightly inked.  The trees were slightly highlighted using a small grey pen .  This created a very shimmery background for my blue jay. A strip of 1/4" Tear-ific Tape was placed along the edges of the card base and glittered using Fascination glitter.

The image was stamped with black ink and colored with copic markers.  Sparkle was added to the edges using the Large Nuvo Glue Pen and Fascination glitter. A small paper rose was added to the top along with some feathers.  Using the large glue pen along the edges of the petals Sparkling Snow glitter was applied.  Small drops of Morning Dew Crystal Drops were added to the flower petals.  Sparkle was added to the blue jay using the small Nuvo Glue Pen and Sparkling Snow glitter.

Here is a closer look at the beautiful background.  You must try the new glimmer paste from SNS they make beautiful shimmery background paper.
