Scrapy Land Challenge #89

 

 

Good morning everyone it's the first Wednesday of the month and time for a new Scrapy Land Challenge.   The theme is always ANYTHING GOES using any brand of die that Scrapy Land sells.  In addition, we have TWO WINNERS for each challenge.  One will be a random winner and the other is chosen by the Design Team.  Each winner will receive a generous $10 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

 

 

 

 

I used this very pretty die from Creative Expressions by Sue Wilson along with a frame die from Spellbinders and butterfly die from Crafter's Companion to create my Mother's Day Card.  You can find similar frame dies here and a butterfly similar dies here.

The frame dies were die cut twice each, one was inked using Distress Ink and a blending tool.  The second set of frame I cut the rectangle out from each and placed on top using foam tape.  This gave the frame some dimension.  Small drops of Strawberry Coulis Jewel drops were added to the corners.

The butterfly was die cut using DP and placed on the small frame added the same color jewel drops.

The front panel was created using distress ink onto watercolor paper and misting with water to allow the inks to blend together.  This really created a pretty layer.  Once the paper was dry I ran it through a Crafter's Companion 3d embossing folder.  A little sparkle was added with a glue pen and Sparkling Snow glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle.  Small drops of Sea Breeze Jewel Drops.



 

 This is a closer look at the back panel.  The sentiment was die cut from left over background paper before it was embossed using the sentiment from the Sue Wilson die.

ScrapyLand Challenge #87

My card today was made using the beautiful Holy Crosses die from Tutti Designs. 

 

 

I started my card by die cutting the crosses once with designer paper, then with gold mirror cardstock and lastly with back cardstock.  The pieces were layered together with a slight offset.  This really give the crosses a lot of dimension.  Small drops of Violet Galaxy Crystal Drops were added.

 



 

This beautiful orchid was die cut using Spellbinder's Orchid die. You can find a similar die HERE.  The edges were glittered using Sparkling Snow glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle and small drops of Violet Galaxy Crystal Drops were added.

Wonderful Mother

Good morning all, hope you are having a wonderful week!!  Today I would like to share a easel card that I made for Mother's Day.

This card was create using Spellbinder's Majestic Labels Twenty-Five.  It really created a soft beautiful card!!

I used Sparkle N Sprinkle's Sparkling Snow glitter behind the oval to add a pretty sparkle.  

This beautiful bow was die cut using Anna Griffin's new Bow die set.  It really is so pretty.  The sentiment was stamped using black ink and SU's Well Scripted stamp set.

This pretty butterfly was cut from a svg file on sticker paper and glittered using Rapture Blue and Spirited Green glitters.
