Timeless Tuesday #188

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Well it's Tuesday and time for another Timeless Tuesday Challenge from Flourishes.  This week is being hosted by Maki and it is to make a project with a  Fall Theme. I chose to use the Triple Stamp Technique you can find the tutorials at SCS.  I stamped the leaves and color the larger leaves with copic markers YR07, YR09 and Y06.  The scarecrow was a printable from  Pinterest.  I colored the scarecrow with prisma pencils, added some SU dazzle diamond glitter.  The sentiment, leaf and acorn were printed from MDS2.  Have a great week everyone and remember to Keep Stamping!! :)

Christmas Lodge Side Step Card

I have been playing around with the side step cards and they have quickly become one of my favorite type of cards!  I recently saw a card on SCS Gallery using Stampin Up's Christmas Lodge Stamps.  I happen to have them on my MDS2 so I wanted to give it a try.  I not sure of the person's name who made the card on SCS, as when I went back I could not find the post so unable to give you credit for the idea.  I gave it a try and here is what I came up with, it is really pretty and sparkly!  All of the stamps were done digital with MDS2 I just love digital scrapbooking and cards.  This software is just so much fun!!

Wild & Wonderful Challenge

The second challenge of the day at Flourishes was Wild & Wonderful Challenge.  It was to create a card that was a little on the rustic side.  I did not have any rustic type stamp so I decided to try and create a rustic looking card with the Flourishes Vintage Postcard stamp set.  Using off white cardstock I stamped in black ink, did some coloring with copic markers.  After coloring I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist's Walnut Gold and lightly misted my cardstock, while damp I crinkled the paper to create a old rustic look and tore the edges.  Let that dry and came back and misted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist's Pearl.  After about 10 minutes for drying I inked the edges with brown ink .  All in all I think it turned out pretty rustic looking.

Dear Santa - Noon Time Challenge

Hope you have all seen the new Christmas releases at Flourishes, they are just beautiful!!!  The Flourishes Dear Santa Noon Time Challenge was to create a card that was fun for kids and kids at heart.  This was such a fun challenge as I have 4 grandchildren and just love making cards for them.  I chose to use a retired stamp from Stampin Up for the Santa and decided to create a snow globe.  I used the Christmas Classic stamp set from Flourishes for the sentiment.  Using prima pencil to color the Santa, and the cuttlebug snowflake folder to emboss.  Hope you all are having a good week.  The weather here in Southeast Texas has been really nice for this time of year, so I am enjoying being outside after such a long hot summer :).  Enjoy the rest of the week and Keep Stamping!!

Timeless Tuesday Challenge # 186 - A Pinterest Christmas

This week Timeless Tuesday Challenge at Flourishes is, A Pinterest Christmas.  Using a picture from Pinterest to inspire you.  I chose the lovely picture. You can find the original post here at Pinterest
I chose to do a side step card you can find the template at SCS .  It is such a fun card to make.  I chose to use a retired Stampin Up Stamp Set for the Santa and Tree, Flourishes Poinsettia & Boxwood Set for the poinsettia, Flourishes Meet Me Under The Mistletoe Stamp Set for the mistletoe border, Flourishes Christmas Classics Stamp Set for the sentiment and the finally stamp from Stampin Up's Winter Post for the Do Not Open.  I colored all the stamps with Prisma Pencils and blended with Mineral Spirits. The poinsettia and the Do Not Open stamps were cut out and embossed with clear embossing powder.  So happy with the way it turned out!!

Any Which Way Challenge

Just loved all the new Christmas Stamps being released the week over at Flourishes.  They are just beautiful, can't wait to see the remaining ones later in the week.  They are having an Any Which Way Challenge using this sketch.  I really like using a sketch most of the work is already done for you :).  I used Stamping Up's Day of Gratitude stamps and their Autum Spice DSP.  Punched a few leaves, alittle glitter, ribbon and all finished.  Be sure to check out all the new Christmas Stamps at Flourishes!

#181 Sketch-Sassy Studios

Today challenge at DDCC was to create a card using this sketch.  Since I have been working on Halloween I create a Halloween card using this sketch.  I just love a challenge with a sketch.  I used the Recollections Halloween Paper, Recollections Haunted House Stamp Set, alittle Stampin Up Dazzling Diamonds on the Ghost.

Halloween Side Step Card

I have been busying working on Halloween cards the past few weeks and have just been having so much fun with them!!  The side step card has become one of my favorite cards, you can find the template at SCS.  I used the Recollections Haunted House Stamp Set, Recollections Halloween Paper Stack and the Martha Stewart Fence Punch to make this cute card. To create the moon I used a 1.25 inch circle punch for a mask, then inked around it with orange and yellow ink.

Autumn Album

I just finished this cute little Autumn mini album that I picked up from my local Scrapbooking Store.  It is just the cutest thing!!  I can't wait to take some pictures of my little grandbabies to put in it.  Hope everyone is having a great week.
