Timeless Tuesday #180

The challenge today was to case a design team's card, I chose the one here from Christine Okken.  It is such a pretty card.

I decided to use glitter for my background, this was done using lace, glitter and a brayer.  I just love this techinque.  Using sticker paper you put the lace on top of the sticky side and sprinkle with the glitter, place a piece of paper on top of the glitter and brayer on top.  Remove the lace and use the 2nd color of glitter in the same manner.  It makes such a pretty back ground.  I stamped and color my window with copic markers.  I used Fisker's punch to finish my card.  Love the look!

Timeless Tuesday #179 Christmas in July

I have been having fun making this year's Christmas cards and love the Christmas in July challenge.  I used the Christmas Classics stamps for the cardinal and sediments.  I got out my copic markers to color the bird.  Using the cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder I embossed and then brayer the snowflakes with some glitter glue.  I just love how it looks with the sparkle.  I used the Martha Stewart pine branch punch and punched out white and sliver glitter paper  to create the Christmas tree.  The window was done using the Grand Madison window diecut.  This just turned out so pretty I will be making a few more.  I did see a similar version of the this card on pinterest and would like to give credit to a fellow blogger Kelly for the inspiration!

Valentine's Day Cards

Well I just finished my Valentine's Day Cards and I really like how they turned out!!!  The first 2 cards I used a stamp that I picked up at the Scrapbook Expo last year from the Rubber Cafe called Be Stylish.  My daughter suggested that I use it for a Valentine card, and I wasn't quite sure how it would turn out.  When I finished the cards I really love the look.  The last card is one I made for my grandsons, it was my first try at a pop up card and they turned out really cute.  Hope you all are having fun with your designs!!!  Thanks for stopping by, happy stamping!

Valentine's Day Card

I just finished my 1st Valentine's Day Card for the new year, and just love how it turned out!!  I used the Sparkle and Sprinkle techinque to make my background paper.  Their sticker paper work wonderfully with glitter and lace to make such pretty background paper. This really turned out so pretty. 

Christmas2010

I'm behind on my Christmas pages, just finished two really cute pages from last Christmas!  I am trying to finished last year along with this years.  I just love looking back at Christmas past and enjoy all the memories.  When you have little ones in the house at the holidays it just make it so much more fun!

Thanksgiving 2011

Cannot believe how much the twins have grown!!  Last Thanksgiving their were newborns and this year they are already a 1 year old.  Our family had much to be thankful for this year.
