Link Up For Pink

Here is my LUFP challenge card!!!  It only needed to have a splash of pink on it.

5 Senses World Card Making Day Challenge

I took a fun class on Saturday, great way to spend World Card Making Day!!!  We made this cute Halloween card and I thought it fit perfect for the challenge that Flourishes was holding.  It is all made using the Sizzix Pop N Cut system.  The smell and taste of yummy pumpkin, the sound of the gate opening and the feel of embossing on the Happy Halloween.  Hope everyone enjoyed the day, I really did the class by Karen Burniston was great!!!

Timeless Tuesday #189

Good morning everyone!!!  The weather here in Houston is just beautiful, nice cool breeze blowing.  It's time for Timeless Tuesday Challenge at Flourishes and today it's being hosted by Denise and it Think Pink, just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness.  I put this card together quickly as I'm not feeling well, my allergies are really acting up.  I used Stampin Up's Thinking of You stamps, I will be sending this to a friend whose mother is battling cancer.  Hope everyone has a great week enjoy the nice fall weather!!

Timeless Tuesday #188

Hope everyone had a great weekend!  Well it's Tuesday and time for another Timeless Tuesday Challenge from Flourishes.  This week is being hosted by Maki and it is to make a project with a  Fall Theme. I chose to use the Triple Stamp Technique you can find the tutorials at SCS.  I stamped the leaves and color the larger leaves with copic markers YR07, YR09 and Y06.  The scarecrow was a printable from  Pinterest.  I colored the scarecrow with prisma pencils, added some SU dazzle diamond glitter.  The sentiment, leaf and acorn were printed from MDS2.  Have a great week everyone and remember to Keep Stamping!! :)

Christmas Lodge Side Step Card

I have been playing around with the side step cards and they have quickly become one of my favorite type of cards!  I recently saw a card on SCS Gallery using Stampin Up's Christmas Lodge Stamps.  I happen to have them on my MDS2 so I wanted to give it a try.  I not sure of the person's name who made the card on SCS, as when I went back I could not find the post so unable to give you credit for the idea.  I gave it a try and here is what I came up with, it is really pretty and sparkly!  All of the stamps were done digital with MDS2 I just love digital scrapbooking and cards.  This software is just so much fun!!

Wild & Wonderful Challenge

The second challenge of the day at Flourishes was Wild & Wonderful Challenge.  It was to create a card that was a little on the rustic side.  I did not have any rustic type stamp so I decided to try and create a rustic looking card with the Flourishes Vintage Postcard stamp set.  Using off white cardstock I stamped in black ink, did some coloring with copic markers.  After coloring I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist's Walnut Gold and lightly misted my cardstock, while damp I crinkled the paper to create a old rustic look and tore the edges.  Let that dry and came back and misted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist's Pearl.  After about 10 minutes for drying I inked the edges with brown ink .  All in all I think it turned out pretty rustic looking.
