Timeless Tuesday Challenge ~ #215 Around The House

Happy Tuesday all!  It time for another challenge at Flourishes and today it is all about finding something around the house to use on your project.  I found a small piece of floral wire and decided it would be perfect to suspend my butterfly from.  I used the Sizzix Pop N Cuts flower diecut to create my card.  The butterflies are from Flourishes Butterflies and Blossoms stamp set.  On the front of the card I used Stampin Up's Manhattan Embossing folder and some watercolors to color the flowers.  The sentiment is from Flourishes Botanical Bookplates.  I made this card for my sister's birthday, hope it brightens her day.  Enjoy the rest of the week!

Just Had To Share!!

I just had to share this cute birthday card I made with Karen Burniston's Pop N Cuts!  They are just so darn cute and so much fun to make.  I made this card for my grandson to take to a birthday party on Sat.  I saw a cute card on the Sizzix Blog and thought that would be a perfect card for him to take!  I cut the balloons from my Basic George Circut cartridge, for the banner I used the Sizzlits Flagpole set.  I cut the card using the circle base die from Sizzix and the Happy Birthday was cut using Spellbinders Label die set.  For the front of the card I used the Cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder and cute little birthday cake stamp(not sure where I got it).  I just think it is adorable.  Hope you are all having a wonderful week!!

Easter Pop N Cut Cards

Well all the Pop N Cut Easter Cards were a big hit!!!  My little grandsons just loved their cards.  If you haven't seen Karen Burniston's Blog, you must check it out.  She has the most amazing tutorials and video on how to use the Pop N Cut dies.  I just love them all and have so much fun making them!!! 

Summer Lovin' Challenge

It's April and time for Release Week at Flourishes!  They are kicking it off with a challenge using the above picture. Using the colors in the picture or keeping summer in mind to create your project.  I order the Summer Blossoms stamp set in December and thought what a perfect set for this challenge.  I stamped the image with Versamark and used chalk to color in the image. The sentiment is from Botanical Bookplate set.  I just loved how this turned out so pretty and the little butterflies just finished it off.  I think this really captured the look of summer.  I just can't wait to see all the new releases at Flourishes, so make sure to hop over to their site and check them all out!!!  

Colorful Creations

It's release week at Flourishes, so the challenge is to used all 3 colors in your creation from the above photo.  I choose to use the Botanical Bookplates from Flourishes.  This is such a pretty stamp set and I just love the die cut that goes with it.  I used watercolors to color my images and embossed with the new Cuttlebug Honeycomb folder.  I can't wait to see all the new releases this week!!!  Make sure to stop by the Flourishes site to see all the new stamps.

Pop N Cut ~ St. Patrick's Day!

Well good morning all!! Hope you all are having a wonderful week, I have been enjoying this cool weather here in Texas. Just finished another Pop N Cut card and want to share it!! I found this cute digi stamp for the cute pot of gold and knew I had to make something with it :). I used the circle base die from Karen Burniston's Pop N Cut designs, you can find them on the Sizzix Blog. I glued the pot of gold to the circle, cut out some small circles for falling coins. This turned out so cute, I know one of my grandsons will love it! Have a great day all!!
